I'll start, I don't think it should be in ME3 because it wasn't in ME or ME2. Shouldn't break pattern.

Neither was African-American or Turian romance in ME1.....

For starters, this will be locked. The mods have said to wait until after E3, in the off chance we get some more announcements about characters.

Secondly, it's in the game. Deal with it. Plenty of things that weren't in ME/ME2 will be in ME3, and they'll only make it a better game. Ditto with this.

"Don't break the pattern" is not a reason. You have to explain why breaking the pattern is a bad thing, and why all the other pattern-breaking features aren't a problem for you.

I support it, although I doubt I'll make any gay characters since I've already got 6 characters that are all in relationships that are currently available.

And oh,"deal with it" is not an answer,neither is 100% sure that it'll be in game since everything can be changed,added or removed before the game release.

Interesting how people so easily accepted inter-species romances in ME2 without complaining about it breaking pattern (yes Shep could bang Liara, but Asari look human) but they can't accept a same-sex male LI. Regardless of Femshep being able to pursue FIVE members of the same-sex (Liara, Samara, Morinth, Kelly, and the Asari consort) Jacob broke pattern too since Shep had never expressed interest in any African-Americans in ME1. So, your Shepard wasn't gay? Don't make him sleep with a guy in ME3 then. Simple.

Oh yeah, I definitely agree with that. I'd be annoyed if Kaiden suddenly expressed his love at the last minute since we weren't able to pursue him before.

Man, talking to past squad mates will get boring in Mass Effect 3 if they aren't allowed to reveal anything new about themselves. (Revaling new things would mean that they aren't portrayed in the same way as they were before.)

Those comparisons don't make sense. Regardless of how much human asari look,they are still aliens,period.
FemShep was able to do S/S,but male Shep wasn't.

Honestly,I wouldn't like any kind of M/M in ME3 (not even with new characters) because I don't approve it. Not gonna hide it. BUT,while I wouldn't like it,I could deal with introducing some new gay or bi characters. I could not deal with making old characters bi/gay,that I would really mind,a lot.

Why? They're both sexual preferences. I'm not interested in black guys sexually at all. Just doesn't do it for me. Shep didn't show any interest in any before, doesn't mean that she didn't like them. Just like just because Maleshep didn't show any interest in dudes before, doesn't mean he doesn't like them.
