Yeah, the more I think about it, the less I like the idea of making any of the currently straight characters gay. It just really doesn't fit ANY of their characters.

I'll start, I don't think it should be in ME3 because it wasn't in ME or ME2. Shouldn't break pattern.

Homosexuality has been in the game since day One. FEMSHEP can romance LIARA. That is homosexual. If anything, you're saying you don't want male homosexuality in the game, which is completely unfair.

May I call for this thread to be locked? I doubt this will stay civil for very long. :|

Either way before this thread get's locked(as it should), M/M has been confirmed. There's little reason to talk about it now.

It's kind of a well established stereotype that gay men maintain their appearence more avidly than straight men. Not saying that makes him gay for sure, I was mostly just kidding.


But also (not to you, Jade), this has nothing to do with me not being comfortable with m/m relationships, because I really am. It is more that now that I have started imagining ALL the characters in gay relationships, I can't imagine any of them making sense compared to their straight counterparts (Except of course Asari, whom I feel make the most sense in gay relationships).

I don't want DA2 fanservice again either. Make the character's sexuality integrated into their character, not just "Oh look, every single character you've met so far just so happens to be bi now. Surprise!"

That response had more to do with the writing than anything else. Honestly I think there's something special between FemShep and Miranda I'd like to see it in the game, if you don't fine, don't play that way but at least have an open mind about the potential for developing characters in new and interesting ways.

I don't find straight characters suddenly being bisexual to be an interesting development. If others want them to change the characters so that they can experience the romance they want, then Bioware is probably going to do that. I just hope that they don't totally change the personalities and backgrounds of the characters I've dedicated time into romancing.
