I hope so. This game just doesn't need MP, all the focus should be SP. Fingers crossed.

Okay i am feeling the need to find a way to purge this rumor from the internet. To all people who think you can't have a game with out multiplayer. Some of the most amazing games haven't had multiplayer, so shut up and deal with it you punch of lower level thinking monkeys!!!!

Not a big advocate of multiplayer aside from fighting games, but I can see the horde descending on this news as "proof" that Mass Effect 3 will "fail" if it is true. I don't really care, I played Dead Space 2 online for 2 games before loving it's single player, it really was a bonus for fragheads more than anything, IF it is true (EXTREME longshot) don't expect it to effect the single player like some other people do.

These rumors were first brought forth by a game magazine from the Middle East, who had a supposed "Super Secret Source".

In light of the events brought forth by said magazine and Bioware's statement of "No ME3 Multiplayer" I hereby dismiss this claim.

I'm not one of these "Herp de Derp, Call of Mass Effect, Derp de Derp, Gears of Effect" type fools that roam the forum, just putting that out there, I LOVE how Mass Effect 3 is looking, to me it was always a big cinematic action/adventure, with amazing character interaction and choice, with a dash of RPG.

I'm just worried MP could take up valuable space that could be used for SP, that's all.

Multiplayer was only denied before the delay. After the delay, Bioware have had no comment on multiplayer.

That said, this is obvious uninformed rumor-mill nonsense. Anyone could have looked at the feature list of any multiplayer TPS and adapted them to the Mass Effect setting.

No, they simply didn't comment on Kinect. They directly denied MP.

But a lot of us have been saying we don't want multiplayer in ME3 for a long time now - maybe they're going to spring it on us closer to release.

I really hope not.

If BW want to make a MP game set in the ME world, then fine. Make one. Just don't make it ME3. It's the last game in what has been, so far, a SP trilogy. Finish it like that.

It's a load of garbage, Bioware has already confirmed there is no multiplayer. And why the hell would they wait until the end of the year to announce this?

Stuff like MP announcements is what E3 and press conferences exist for; something like that would NOT be announced on a forum, or Twitter, nor would it simply just be left as added text to the game box.

They would have announced it at E3 and then proceeded to beat their own drums about it to make sure EVERYONE hears.
