So you all remember back in ME how you could holster or draw your gun at will but in ME2 shep seemed to lack the function to holster his gun 96% of the time it just was nearly permanently drawn. I would like to see a return back to the draw/holster option for ME. I'm very annoyed when shep keeps the gun out all the flipping time! The crosshairs don't help either both the permanent gun drawing and the cross hairs serve to break immersion into the story. Anybody else with me on this?

For Xbox 360 press back to holster your weapon in ME2.

Um.. you can holster your gun in ME2 anytime you want... check your hotkeys. You just can't draw your gun unless you're in a combat area.

The only thing that irked me about holstering your weapon in ME2 was your squadmate actually yelling at you. "ALL CLEAR!" "HOSTILES ELIMINATED!" "GIVE PEACE A CHANCE!" Okay I made that last one up but would have embraced it over the others.

Heh - yeah it's really weird.. especially because they shout it louder than anything else they say... and as much as I love Garrus, I have a scar on my knee because of him and his over eagerness to inform me that there isn't anything shooting at me anymore.
The first time I holstered my gun on my own (were no enemies around and I was messing around with hotkeys) Garrus screamed "ALL CLEAR!" so loud in my headphones that I jumped from my chair and smashed my knee so hard against the table edge that it left a deep gash that still has a scar over a year later.

I would like the ability for my squad to holster their guns when I holster mine. Especially after the "ALL CLEAR!" and yet Garrus is still standing there expecting something terrible to happen.

I've never found this key in ME2 does the 360 have it and why did they move it? In ME it was red (I think) tap that and you could holster or draw your gun at will when not in combat and shep auto drew the gun when they saw enemies but you could still holster it in battle. I would rather that come back then be stuck with guns out all the time to me that's just as bad as being locked inside that bunny hopper the whole time.

What does it matter anyway, would rather have that key used on something else on the xbox controller...

You can holster your gun. I just miss the ability to UN-holster it anywhere and anytime and take carefully aimed shots within inches of random civillians. Too bad they never reacted.

We should have infinite thermal clips and the ability to un-holster weapons in non-combat areas.
[The above may or may not be a joke]

Holstering has been implemented in both games but what I would really like to see is Shepard actually lowering his weapon until you aim it with the left trigger. Pointing guns forward all the time is kind of silly looking to me at least.

I'm just mad that my squad-mates don't do it when I do and that they can still crouch.
