I really do hope we get to choose and hope that new 'outfit' seen in the gameplay is a sign of us having even more choices for casual gear in ME3.

Ditto, I thought the same, we only had the alliance variant of the basic Cerberus fatigues we have in ME2 during ME, ME2 we also had the various suits. It'd be nice if we properly got the Alliance Blues in ME3 as another option.Paul Sedgmore wrote...

Yup, if we get the chance, am so going to do that with my 'worse playthrough' shep I think seeing as am not taking that playthrough at all seriouslyscyphozoa wrote...

The overall pace of combat seems to have been cranked up a notch. The dives and cover switching animations were fast too.

These sort of demos are usually done on super-easy mode, aren't they?

I kind of assumed that was just essentially a "cheat" used to make the demo easier to show, since it wouldn't do for the presenter to be getting his ass shot off all the time during a demo

Yeah I was going to mention this in my OP but accidentally knocked it out, there is also the fact that I imagine Earth to be 'Lazarus/Freedom's Progress' combined, it would also address why Ash is wearing the outfit she was in the trailer rather than full on combat gear (even if she could've decked out on the Normandy).marshalleck wrote...
I think it was pretty obvious what we saw in the demo was not the first 10 seconds of the game. It's probably much like the beginning of ME2; remember how Shepard had to collect armor and a gun during the escape from Lazarus station?

Could she? I think not. Since from the intro we know that at least the James Vega guy is around the shuttle evac spot which is nowhere near the Normandy landing spot, and yet he managed to get there, I don't see why she should. Plus, who says that the Normandy is equipped with personnel armour yet?Sir Ulrich Von Lichenstien wrote...

I don't complain about much, but this has been bothering me since I saw the video. Why the hell wasn't Shepard in a military dress uniform at the trial? Or is it customary to wear casual short-sleeved shirts to court?

Don't you need your uniform for those?

Do we know that for sure? It doesn't seem to me like the Alliance would have any grounds to court martial somebody who is no longer military personnel.

We never actually got to see the trial so maybe that short sleeved outfit was what he was wearing underneath these dress blues and when all hell broke loose he ditched them to move easier.Neverwinter_Knight77 wrote...
