While everyone's b****hing about that Omni Blade, thought I'd bring some query over these new N7 weapons we'll be getting exclusive in the Collector's Edition pack. I'm curious to see how these weapons, since they're exclusive, will be better than the standard and DLC arms we've been playing with for the past year and a half.

My hopes are:

N7 Pistol - Carries the laser sight of the Phalanx, but more ammo and stopping power.

N7 Shotgun - While I don't see this thing carrying the same monster kick of the Claymore, I'm hoping it matches the Eviscirator's power but with more ammo and higher rate of fire. Also, give it the GPS' range too.

N7 Submachinegun - I'd like it to be similar to the Locust, only without the Silencer and a higher ammo count.

N7 Sniper Rilfe -  The only way I see this topping my favorite the Viper, is if it has the Incisor's auto fire function. Only without the horrid recoil and low ammo count.

So... what you all think?

You already have the M-96 for that.

I agree. The Mattock's already a beast of a gun. Here's hoping the weapon upgrades in the game enable you to increase it's ammo.

Maybe add a scope to the Mattock or an underside attachment. For the sniper rifle, I prefer the Widow over anything else.

N7 sniper rifle looks interesting. I hope these will be modifiable as well.

I'm betting all of them will be modifiable in some way. I just hope they're not severely underpowered compared to future DLC releases.

I wonder how many (if any) weapons will be added with DLC. It seems like we are getting loads of guns this time around :D

Gotta say, I'm a little disappointed with their design, basically looks like re-skins of old weapons..

But it's still weird that an N7 AR isn't included... figuring taht most people play as a soldier, why wouldn't it be?

Don't care too much. They're nice additions, but I'll find SOME weapon with which to free Eartha nd save the galaxy.

I'll already have a full armory, what with all my heavy weapons and DLC packs. I'm sure these will be cool, but I just hand out weapons (mostly) based on characters personality/mission needs. E.Q. Legion gets the Pulse Rifle and Widow. Tali gets the Geth SG and Lotus, etc.

If there is to be a N7 Assault Riffle, it'll probably a reskinned Mattack since the other weapons are reskinned ME2 dlc weapons.

I would actually guess that an N7 AR would be an M-8 Avenger, it just seems more likely (in my head atleast :P)

About the absence of an N7 AR in the CE, maybe it is already in the game, or maybe it'll get added later, og maybe they simply forgot to list it :P

Wow... I HOPE that's not the case.

Even more of a slap in the face to what is supposed to be a "collector's edition."

We're supposed to be able to modify the looks of weapons anyway, aren't we? I mean, by adding the RPG element to our weapons, they change appearance.

Why just re-skin weapons some of us already have? I want there to be SOME difference, even if it's something not that noticable like damage or fire rate.

We already have an assortment of guns to choose from. I don't see why BW should release more weapons, now with the ability to customise our weapons, even guns like the M-8 will be an effective option after some customisation. Anyhow, if a new AR is in sight, perhaps it should be like a minigun?

I think if they release a tried-and-true minigun, it should be considered a heavy weapon.

The Revenant is close, but not quite.

I really don't like the look of the N7 weapons.

Assuming I order CE (which seems likely) unless they have great stats or features, and judging by the collector AR, they probably wont, I won't be using them.

I hope it uses the overheat system and it does so little damage that it is completely unusable.

No Vindicator love? The N7 arsenal looks cool and all, but I could never betray my favorite weapon. Apparently you'll be able to add up to five mods to a weapon. The gameplay that showed upgrades only had 2 mods, but maybe that's just with the overpowered Mattock or you'll have to buy weapon upgrade slots before you can add more mods.
