It would be a very...vulnerable type of romance for Shepard because he/she would have to open up and be entirely honest about his/herself. Vega on the other hand would have to learn the lesson of loving another human being instead of a charicature/idol, which humanizes him in the process. It sounds to me like the kind of romance that would come off as more sincere than "HEY! HEY! LISTEN! LISTEN! I'M YOUR ROMANCE OPTION! PICK ME AND WE'LL MAKE BLUE SPACE BABIES!"

(Mind you, I adore Liara).

Jilinna wrote something very insightful and similar, and she convinced me.

I think that's why most of us find the idea of romancing him so appealing. I mean, sure DOSE TRAPS  and that manly, rough around the edges look don't hurt at all. But the moment we knew Shepard used to be his hero  the potential for an epic romance became hard to miss. If Bioware doesn't make him an L.I. then their writers would have made another blunder almost as big as missing the humanization of Shepard in Mass Effect 2.

The relationship has incredible potential & could be Legen -wait for it- dary! If Bioware misses out on this opportunity I will be a sad panda.

EDIT: Also I agree my Shepard better have feelings this time around and actually react to tough/emotional situations realistically or I will rage. <_<

I wish I could tell you! It's been driving me insane too. I know I've heard that voice somewhere and I've been listening to it over and over trying to figure it out.

Either way, because of the wonderful details from the leaked beta, I decided to write chapter 2 to my Vega/femShep fic - Under Better Circumstances 2.

i am not sure, but it might be Nathan Fillion. He is a best candidate for Vega's voice, in my opinion. Still, i am not sure for 100%. What do you think, people?

Didn't they start writing the romances AFTER E3? I think I remember reading that somewhere, and if it's true then there's a high likelihood that Vega will be an L.I.

Passing Jacob is like being the prettiest girl at Sarah Jessica Parker's house; it's not really an achievement. 

I like Jacob a lot actually. He's way better looking than Kaidan (in my honest opinion). However, I think Mr. Vega is more muscular (and I like wrestler/muscle types myself) plus with that last name I think he's of Latin descent. That alone is a win in my book. 

So far I'd take Vega----Jacob---then Kaidan in that order. Forget about dino-bird Garrus (yes he 's a bro...but anything else...nah) and Thane's never been my type. Don't even ask about Zaeed

That's easy... you draw Vega and then, far far far away in the background you put a single dot (that it's Jacob), or 4 dots (Jacob and his 3 fans).
