Once I got over the squeeeing I realised he looks a lot more hi-res and detailed then  in this pic. Just goes to show how far they have came since the beta footage

The graphics do look so much better. This game is going to be amazing!

Mmm  Aside from the obvious yumminess that is Vega, it is really impressive how much the shadowing and little details have improved when comparing this shot to the one from the leaked demo. Really pay attention to the shading from his chin on his neck, and the fabric of his shirt looks like it came straight out of a real life photo. Amazing work Bioware!

It also seems Vega has gotten a bit of a nose and eye job, very slight but still. The upturn to his nose (aka piggy nose) is almost non existant, and his eyes look somewhat larger, and definitely darker.

Ok! Now that the analytical part is out of the way, I can run around my house flailing about how hott this video game character is, s'cuse me

I watched the beta on youtube and while there are some story spoilers a lot of the scenes we've already seen in various demo and walkthroughs e.g. E3.

I to was worried about Vega, the perception I had was he was like grunt, Doesn't talk much, likes to hit things a lot, but from the beta it looks like there's a bit more to him.

Mm, hello there. I'm curious as to what black magic BW put to use to make him even more attractive than he was in the beta demo. There is something strange and wonderful afoot here. Also, the shading IS wildly impressive. So realistic. So delicious.

Also also, I've just finished the first chapter of my pre-ME3 fic covering the several weeks before the Reapers hit Earth. But I'm delirious from the lack of sleep, so I'll be proof reading and posting it tomorrow. I'm quite proud of it, though. Mm-hmm... so tired.
