Anyways what KawaiiKatie said is what I meant by weakness.

I should of been more specific, but I thought his facial expressions showed he wasn't a fan of birds, look at that face! Do you think the beast in the movie liked it? Hence his weakness is birds because he doesn't like them!

Anyways pretty sure It was meant to show he had a soft side and thats why the art was called "Not so Beastly"

He has a nemesis. Bubbles. The Space Hamster kept in the Commander's room...

Although, I wouldn't be surprised if the cat and the hamster were conspiring to get their owners together... worked in 101 Dalmatians, can't see why it wouldn't in Mass Effect.
