Hmmmm... so I wonder what bro-tastic moments we can expect from the game. Jacob mentions going to get some drinks on the Citadel. I think it would be awesome if we could actually experience those moments. With a smaller team, I think it would be possible to work stuff like that in.

I would love to be able to get some of my team saucy when we hit the bars. If Shep can drink till he/she passes out, I don't see why we can't corrupt our squad too. I think it would be fun. Maybe have a couple of different responses for each squaddie.

I have a few Sheps that would totally challenge Vega to a drink off.

^When you talked to Ash back in ME1, you could stumble across an e-mail conversation with her sister about this James guy in her past. There was some speculation about Vega being the same James. I haven't read the leaked script, but I think this rumor is based on that speculation. So, I wouldn't believe it, but wait for someone else who has read it to deny or confirm the rumor.

Bioware denied the rumors. The James mentioned in that e-mail and Vega are not the same character.

James: *Walks into room. Shepard is sitting on his bed, smoking a cigarette.* Shepard? Anderson wants to see you?
Shepard: Story of my life. *Stubbs it out in an ashtray on his bedside table before following James out.*
James: I didn't realise you smoked.
Shepard: I did a lot when I was younger. Can't guarantee it was always tobacco.
James: Wha-? *looks over his shoulder, Shepard shrugs indifferently.* Never figured you the type, Sir.
Shepard: I was going through a really rough patch in my life.
James: Feel up to sharing?
Shepard: Do you want to share what happened at Fehl?
James: No, I really don't.
Shepard: There are things I like to keep to myself too.
James: I understand, but it must have been something pretty bad.
Shepard: Stop trying to pry, Lieutenant. I don't like to talk about it.
James: Understood. Sorry sir.
*long silence. Shepard has a talk with Anderson and they are on their way back to Shepard's cell. James is obviously still curious. Shepard rolls his eyes and indulges him.*
Shepard: On Elysium. I lost someone I was close to.
James: Wife?
Shepard: *shrugs* Close enough.

@Pennyball Haha, while I agree that there can never be too much Vega picture spamming (especially shirtless) I don't think the same image needs to be reposted again and again and again on one page. It takes up a lot of space and it puts threads on the fast track to lock down.

Hehe. My Shepard isn't a 'bad boy'. He's just tired of the bullish*t that the Committee has put him through, also, in My Jon-Mal's case. He actually was on Elysium to get married. Literally a week after he was married, the blitz happened. I think something like that is enough for anyone to break.

So in a way, Jon-Mal can see a younger version of himself in James (the whole hiding on Omega thing, gettng drunk, starting fight etc.) because he's been there. He's gone through that and he's come out better for it. So the relationship between my main Shepard and James is a really deep one.
