I'm just going to drop in here and say that I am resisting. Your thread title is now meaningless.
You lie puny bear!
Yup, It's true. It's been a hard
fight and many of my brave and honorable soliders have given their lives in the
resistance of James Vega but in the end we ultimatley won. It was quite the
battle. I had my men digging foxholes, trenches, and MG nests all night. We
lined the perimeter with foo gas landmines and razor wire. At the break of dawn
the barrage started. Dozens of Vega artillery pieces started opening up shell
after shell landed pounding our nerves like thors hammer.
We had just over a dozen casualties from that initial bombardment. My buddy
Jack got hit directly with a 105mm HE round I couldn't even see his remains
after the smock cleared. Anyway after the barrage Vega's infantry began their
advance. The sight of Vega's army was intimidating considering that each Vega
solider had a pink ****** strapped to his helmet.
As soon as they entered the first kill zone I gave the signal. About two dozen
of my best marksman opened up with their M107s. They tore right through Vegas
ranks. Seeing Vega soldiers getting their limbs gibbed by 50 BMG left and right
is truly a sight to behold. After they came staggering into the second kill
zone my boys detonated the foo gas flailing a fiery barrage of flame and shrapnel
into their faces. Foo gas may be primitive but it's damn effective against
strait up infantry. We could see dozens of Vega soldiers burning and screaming
trying to put the fire out.
That’s when they entered the final kill zone. We were armed to the teeth. We
had 50 cal MGs and M134s lined all across the trenches. One 50 cal or 134 for
every rifle company. Along with that we had our standard infantry armed with
M16s, M4s, M240s, SCAR Hs and Ls. We even got that new beefed up H&K 416
that's replacing the M249, and enough ammo to kill the entire army of China
three times over. ****ing meat grinder I tell ya. Unholy barrage of suppressive
fire. Vega's men being ripped apart. Falling by the dozens everywhere you
looked.
After about 12 hours of this we were getting really drained we were running low
on ammo which seemed impossible and Vega's men were climbing over the corpses of
their fallen comrades. They were closing on us. I gave the order to fix
bayonets. My soldiers all gave me tired but determined looks. One by one I
could hear the click click click of ring bayonets fitting into their grooves.
Vegas men came closer and closer until they were in our face and that's when
**** went FUBAR to hell bayonets stabbing soldier’s blood ****ing everywhere.
Men bleeding out on the ground. A Vega solider charged at me trying to stab me
in the back. I quickly turned and stabbed him right in the left lung. He
collapsed gasping for air when I proceeded to finish him off with single shot
to the head with my M1911.
Three more hours of fighting and it seemed all was lost. We were down to just
six men. We were all at the last trench firing whatever we could find on the
ground. That's when a miracle happened for us we got a call from HIGHCOM saying that
they were diverting all air assets to us and they'd be their within 30 seconds.
They told us to mark our position with smoke and IR strobes. The cavalry was
coming. F-15s loaded up with JADAMs, AC-130 specters, and AH-64s all armed and
ready to kick ass. We counted down thirty seconds and that's when fire rained
from the sky JDAMs going off in the back ranks, ****ing hydra rockets blowing
away infantry and the AC-130 letting loose with its 105 and 40 mills. Glorious.
I swear to god my dick was hard. After the dust settled me and my men gathered together
in a foxhole tired and ready to collapse, but we did it. All of Vegas army
destroyed proving that we have indeed resisted Vega. ****ing tough fight.
