On a serious note when the demo and the game finally comes out I'd love to play Multiplayer with you guys! Maybe we could start a post on the Vega group where people can drop off there tags and online names so when the demo/game comes out we can play together! You know what I'll make the discussion right now in the Vega group! Just for the record I play on PC and my origin user name is Jilinna because yeah I like to keep things easy to remember.

Yeah I love that comic too! It's one of my favorites and yay for another girl in here I know there are a few others but we have been out numbered by the guys it seems! Which is fine since everyone in here rocks! <3

I am a female gamer thanks to a prolonged say in a hospital with my BF's XBox. Most of my time has been with ME2 and DA2 with some DA:O and ME1 mixed in. I am a sucker for the whole LI thing and as a matter of principle I go after the male LIs (if available) no matter which gender I play. Most of my characters are either Asian or Brown and I look forward to seeing this "new and improved" character creator in ME3.

I plan to perform some experiments on this Vega person with both genders and see if I am as happy with him as I am with Kaidan and Garrus. However if Vega goes on about how my Shepard reminds him of his dead lover I will throw my TV out the window.

Yes, but I wouldn't enjoy it as much as I would with my male Shep. And that playthrough would be for his romance only, so it wouldn't be import (because I really don't like playing as fem Shep), so it wouldn't be an enjoyable experience overall.
No offense to fem Sheps waiting on Vega, of course; just not my cup of tea.

Yeah I will, I want him as bi so everyone can have a piece of Vega, but I want to play it out with both femshep and maleshep if given the chance. I just finished my FemShep who will romance Vega if he is an option. I have to say it was a lot of fun to play since I made it really angsty and sad.

She has a Renegon personality. She has the colonist Ruthless background. She plays no games when it comes to her job, she is tough and blunt. Though she has a heart of gold and tries to always do what she feels is right no matter the consequences.

Though in ME1 she started falling for Kaidan but when Virmire came she chose Ashley because she was guarding the bomb and that bomb needed to go off at all costs.  In ME2 she is still greiving. Though if in ME3 she can romance Vega I am shacking her up with him. I think based on what we know about his personality "mischievous, head-strong, and tenacious" I think they will suit each other perfectly!

That will be her ultimate team in ME3! She might of romanced Garrus in ME2 if he didn't look like a dinosaur. Also she didn't want to come between his true love, his calibrations. Still love him though! <3

ps some of the pics i take of him just make him look outright crazy case in point the one i took a bit earlier (good thing romances dont seem to care if you are a complete **** most of the time)

I'm totally playing a femShep for Vega. I have yet to come up with a good profile for her, yet...but she will exist before ME3 comes out! Lol. I don't like playing broShep as much, but I'd definitely romance him with my gay broShep.

Aww Well I guess it came with a silver lining right? I am a female gamer thanks to my brother who I would watch play video games, then eventually I wanted to play them too. It was also my brother who got me interested in Bioware games starting with Kotor.
I spent probably way to much time on DA:O according to my hour count  (What! its Alistair's fault! ) than DA2, ME2 and ME1. I am a sucker for the whole LI thing too! I go for whatever I think suits my character at the time. Like I had a aggressive femhawke Warrior who I wanted to romance Fenris but she ended up romancing a rivaled Issy because it suited her best, also rivaling Isabela is so worth it!

Also I agree I am looking forward to seeing the "new and improved" character creator in ME3 because honestly the shadows and lighting does not compliment a darker toned Shepard at all.

hehe you have great taste!  Yeah for some reason when I was thinking about her I just felt like a renegon Shepard would be the best fit for him, I just had a feeling that I should stick with renegon and I did! Glad I did because out of all my Shepards I can honestly say I probabaly had the most fun playing her! & Thank you, I worked really hard on her! <3

@Cuddlezarro- You also have great taste! I especially love the beret! <3 Kaidan has a beret too in one of his armor/cloths pictutres and I have to say I can't wait to see him in it!

I have to say at first I didn't like broShep but he grew on me really fast afterwards. Mark Meer did an excellent job in ME2. But yes for me it was an acquired taste.

Also @ Viggorrah & CDRSkyShepard- Can I say how much I love both your Joker banners? Because I have to say they look really awesome! <3 I am an underground supporter of a Joker romance and lurker in the Joker thread but I have never posted in there because... I have no idea actually! I think I need to rectify that! But yeah anyways love the banners!  

@Drone223- Hmm I would imagine so but I have no idea. They are the first two squad-mates you come across in ME3 so I would think so, I think everyone else you have to recruit or find again if I am not mistaken. I might be wrong though.

sad thing is the lighting is far kinder t darker sheps than origins was to darker wardens....

in the pearl my boyfriends rather dark skin warden would turn michael jackson pale... *shudders* plus the CC was so dark it was hard to tell what you look like if you made a darker skin toned character

Agree with the above^ Also, I would like my Femshep to NOT have that demented ponytail and to have say the ponytail style my avatar on Bioware has!

Now that you started talking about DA's skin collor and stuff, I noticed that ME is WAY more race blended than DA, really, Dragon Age: Origins didn't have a SINGLE important black character.
Another thing I realized is that this thread is almost on the 200th page.

Truthfully, the lighting was way off in DAO so it's hard to tell. Isabela is actually quite dark, like how she is in DA2, when you import her into the Toolset. Importing her model from DA2 produces the same results. Sten is pretty dark though...

isabella only looked white because of how messed up the lighting is in the pearl

if you look at her face model in the toolset without that god awful lighting which turns even the darkest skinned characters white shes pretty dark
