Wait did I hear that correctly?? So we will recieve messages when someone in our crew wants to talk to us and we can call them up to the cabin instead of walk to them to chat?? Ummm ***SQUEEE*** *faints* I love how we can call him up to chat instead of walk to him where he works, feels more personal and intimate. 

Hmm about the private talk with James... my serious guess is since in the comic he wasn't really open to talking about or getting over Fehl when Anderson came, I agree with you Viggorrah, maybe that is what the message is about! Since if whatever happened on Fehl went really badly according to Walters than it would be understandable he wouldn't want to talk about it in public.
Is mass effect here yet?!  PS: I got my younger brother ME2 for christmas.

Yeah the incident on Fehl is the only thing I can really think of this point, with our limited knowledge of Vega and my nonexistent knowledge of the leaked script. And it also makes sense that he would want to talk to Shepard about it, since s/he went through Akuze, Torfan, or Elysium.

I wouldn't say doubting... there's definitely strong evidence that provides the possibilty of James being at least bi, but we've been let down before, and I don't want to get my hopes up only to be kicked in the balls again.

Words won't be able to describe my happiness if it's confirmed though.

Actually, most likely he's bi if we consider the other circumstances of the romances in ME3 especially the balancing act that Bioware is trying to do. Then factoring all of his other dialog and it can really go either way. But the balance act sways him to bi.

Not to mention, Vega's character is designed for a certain niche of players. No offense, but his whole bulky soldier look is not a coincidence. He's meant for certain male players and not the gay ones.

Ashley/Kaidan:not confirmed
Vega:ditto
Liara:shes been bi since the first game
every single ME2 squad mate romance interest: straight

now non squad mates

kelly:bi
Samantha:lesbian
Steve:gay

id like to point out there was also voice recordings for S/S romances in the first and second games so no they arnt confirmed expecially considering the leaked scrip makes it sound like it can go either way

as for vega
1) his romance in the leaked script is incomplete
2) there is romance dialogue where he calls shepard by his male nickname not the female on so again still up in the air

also the romance options have been discussed quite a bit in this topic already and just stating whos a romance isnt that big of a spoiler  so get over it

Yes. the difference now is that. we have Bioware telling us how S/S is definitely going to be in the third game. Back in me1, it looks like the bisexuality was cut for whatever reasons. Why would they cut content they are promising us?

They might be incomplete but not only is there little evidence but it would be against Bioware's best interest to make Vega a bisexual character. I will repeat. He was created to attract the FPS crowd. Gay Protagonists don't do well with preteen boys. Lets not forget, why they would make 4 bisexuality(including Liara) options and 2 homosexual options. Does that make sense to you? That's excessive even for Bioware.

It is not confirmed through tweets - it's typical for all VA to record both male and female versions. Hence why we have a Mark Meer voice over for "You want a relationship with me? Even though we're both women?"

Now to Vega. I won't argue that he is designed to be as manly as possible. That much is certain. But even within that design there is an entire sub-culture of homosexuals. Ever heard of "bears"? Gay men are attracted to a whole assortment of men. Some are into soft-spoken Kaidan others are into aggressive giants like Vega. It's weird right? How some guys like shy Tali and some guys like sexy Miranda. Hence Cortez's comment to Vega within the script. With Vega, I've argued, that we aren't going to see anything blatant since he does have to appeal to certain players - both new and old since he is taking up a spot that could have been used by a previous squaddie. This may come as a surprise, but most bi/homosexual men don't go around talking about it.

The fact that there are two bis already is why Vega must be:

We have Liara - obviously bisexual. And then Kaidan and Ashley. And then Cortez and Traynor. Each one balances out the other. Except for Liara. Thats Vega's job. The balancing act I'm describing keeps everything in line. Liara s/s is offset by Vega's s/s like Cortez and Traynors. Imagine a game where Kaidan is dead which would leave open a single m/m romance who isn't even a squadmate. Unfortunate implications indeed since there is ALWAYS a f/f romance with Liara.

also we already have 2 romance options for gay/lesbians (excluding liara) them not using kaidan/ashley wouldn't be going back on there promise

also as much as I hate to bring it up since I hate the game DA2 had all bi options outside a DLC character so its not out the question(and no im not saying I want every one to be Bi) considering just how many damn love interests there are in this game

also iv never stated he will be bi i just stated from reading the script its a possibility which it still is until bioware says outright or we play the game ourselves

not everyone but its still not out of the question for bioware

its kind of funny considering no one made a big deal about every one in skyrim being avaliable for marriage to both genders then again the marriage in that game was fable with less farting

No, everyone did not.

I think a lot of the flack they got from that was that you couldn't turn Anders down politely; you had to be a jerk to him.

And Bioware seems to be moving to an everybody is bi option in there games. There's nothing wrong with that, and James certainly would be the perfect candidate for a new LI for both genders.

well we all know who he is but its hard to ignore some one when your bored as hell


as for voice acting... considering bioware rarely screws up party member VA I doubt it will suck in vegas case expecially with how much they are hyping him up

Why must you constantly play this semantic game with me? The statement served its purpose. The sentence summarized the overall view of the "all-bi" option. I'm not going to reword a statement because you took it too literal.

That's like me trying to argue with you by questioning the validity of the word "bi". Bi is not an actual word now is it?
