And yeah, he does look like a tool a little bit. But looks can be deceiving, right? I mean, the cold Salarian proffessor turned to be spiritual and musically inclined. Jack opened up in the end and showed to care much more than her "f*ck off Shepard!" led to believe. Tali has a wee little pervy side, Legion is a gamer, Miranda looked forward to having children some day... That kind of stuff. None of the characters are strictly one dimensional, so I expect Vega to be interesting in some way besides "YEAH I'm a space marine! Let's smash stuff!". And I hope that said third-dimensionality allows him to get emotionally closer to male Shepard. It would be nice.
Also, personally I think that the best male human character they managed to write was Zaeed. Too bad he had so little dialogues. He was kind of a dick, but I think he was waaaaay more interesting than Kaidan or Jacob.

Oh, so it's just a fan thing then. I guess it comes from the fact that he doesn't look like the kind of guy that loves kitties, but that we wish turns out to be lovable and likes cooking cupcakes and that kind of stuff. Heh.

Being a bit of a dick is what made Zaeed interesting.
Always nice when you have a character who is jaded and world weary enough to not worship the ground shep walks on.

im actually glad he doesnt worship the ground you walk on (which is also one of the reasons I like Aria) but he was pretty damn reckless during the refinery mission which pissed me off (then again I dont see why I couldent have sent the other party member we had to save the people while me and Zaeed go hunt down vigo)

The thing with Vega is that we really don't know much about the character. There's the comic that gives us a semi-background and all, but we just don't know how he'll fit in the story and with other the characters. I am interested by him though because he's new to all of this (the reapers and such) so he could allow the story writers a chance to recap the story a little bit which would be really good because I don't remember everything about the story sadly.
the comic really doesnt do him justice if hes anything like the leaked script it
he also isnt a brain dead moron whos grimdark serious all the time (hes rather witty and loves giving people cute nicknames)

Isn't it obvious?
She can't deal with the sexy aroma of two strong human males.
Imagine it. Wafting in the air. Pure testosterone.

I do wonder why there are 2 big old dents right below where his nipples are though

Since it's not a scan and it's hosted by that magazine site, it's not against the rules.

Why does he look so bad in some pictures, and so great in others? Dammit, maybe it's just me having mixed feelings about his face. Or the uncanny effect of CGI. With human characters, it's impossible to escape.
