ME1 armor was Colossus (or however it's spelled) all the way.

In ME2 it's Kestral chest piece and arm piece, the extra health pants (the only pants I actually like) and the Sentry Visior. Black for my adepts, white for my infiltrators.

...well that and pink & white for my renedouche because he wants to have an excuse to punch someone in the face.

Am I the one who wasn't very impressed with the Kestrel armor? Everywhere I've heard nothing but how great it is, and I'm kinda meh about it. I will always regret not getting the Collector's edition, though. The collector armor looks great.

Also, I associate colors to classes too, but only to the secondary and pattern color (grey or white for engineers, blue for infiltrators, yellow or orange for vanguards, red for soldiers, purple for sentinels, and light blue for adepts) The main color is usually black or grey. Very rarely, white (when I want to match Mordin's colors)

Back guys woo! Sorry for not being on here as much as I used to, been a hectic week of parties (not complaining but I DID miss you all very much) Also anyone know when that beta comes out? I'm dying here and it IS January

I think pink and white is renedouches uniform. Mine wears it as well. And, as far as I remember, Ugly Shepard does it, too.

About colours: my Vanguard wears RED armour. Very, very red. And since I've just bought myself a Kestrel, it will be bright red Kestrel with red lips... what's the correct word? visible through? sticking out of? helmet.


And, hopefully, back to James: since squadmates' outfits have stats this time around and he is clearly tank-like class, how big bonus (10% 25% 30%) and to what (health, shields, damage protection) do you expect from his iconic outfit?

I would say that probably around 15-25% bonus to sexyness, with a 10 or 20% extra on sexaliciousness.

I like the way it looks mostly. The stats are negible.

Wouldn't wear collector armor though. I'm surprised people recognize Shep wearing it and no one's trying to shoot him.

I'd expect a 25% damage protection bonus and maybe 10% extra shields.

I know I've been busy waiting for more Vega goodiness from BioWare. Here's another chapter for Under Better Circumstances - "Pieces."

At first I didn't love Vega's look. I still think he's too bulky and beefy for comfort. Earlier I was saying it'd have to be his voice and personality if I was going to appreciate him.

Amazing what a difference seeing things in action in that beta made. The way he moves, the way he speaks, and the fact that he so offhandedly ignores the fact that he doesn't have to salute you or call you Commander just gives me a burst of warm fuzzies. People thought he was going to be "annoying questions guy", but I don't get that vibe. I think they made him a real character just like all the others, and if he gets confused about something I'll be happy to enlighten him because I don't at all think he'll sound stupid when he asks, just unfamiliar with the territory. Seems like a loyal soldier and all-around good guy to me.

And frankly, he'd make a nice love interest if they go that route--I got the sense that he and Shepard were more friendly than mere co-workers. Not necessarily in the sexy way, but they seemed like equals somehow despite the fact that he was saluting and all that. There's just something about him. He's respectful, he's military, but he seems very--at home with himself and very aware that his self-worth should not be attached to his rank, that ranking is to keep everything orderly and operate on the best decisions as a whole, not to separate the peasants from their betters. But I could easily be happy if it was only friendship, because not every character can or should be romanceable.

Things could change if he's drastically different from what we saw in the rest of the game, but I think I'm very much going to like Vega. He seems just what they said, experienced as a soldier, just not as much with life off of Earth.
