We might visit London while liberating Earth.
Also same voice actor was talking in ME3 Fall of Earth trailer.

Back to Vega. I have a question that I'm sure has been covered already, but is he, or is he not that "James" from Ashley's email. Do we know one way or the other yet?

A) James is a common name in our time. I don't know if it is when ME takes place. But still.I believe developers have commented that this particular entry refers to an employee at Bioware that moved away.

And I really wouldn't go as far as calling him boring -yet- since, like you said, we know so little about him. So I'll reserve my judgement of that aspect of him until I know more about him, for now I just find him refreshing after
Miranda and Jacob.

^Yeah, I find him interesting for looking normal.
And ofcourse that Shepard might get a role as mentor with James Vega.

I'm curious if Vega turns out to become some form of apprentice to Shepard. Would be kinda fun to train a soldier and show him the ropes in space. Though I must admit, I was a lot more interested in him when his last name was Sanders.

This has the potential to end horribly. First, if he is the S/S option I don't thin I have the stomach to romance my apprentice. Second, he can very well turn into a Shepard fanboy, something I would hate. I already have Tali telling me how wonderful, handsome and amazing my Shepard is, I don't need Jimmy to do the same.
Plus, I was under the impression that he was a veteran. I don't see how much there is to learn. I get a Carver-vibe from him, for some reason. This pleases me.

So you'd rather drag someone to bed than teach him new tricks as a soldier? Haven't we enough of that in the other characters?

I just told you how I don't want Vega to be a Shepard fanboy and this is the conclusion you got?
But yes, I would.
