Well, chiquitín is more like "tiny boy". Something like that, but it's more complex due to the lack of gender in english language, but... now, I have ABBA in my head singing Chiquitita.

I know, I'm Spanish :P I couldn't find an exact translation :)

Chiquitín is a oddly fitting word for Shepard to call James because, being a Spanish diminutive, it also implies affection, an obvious intention in the context of misi-chan's brohug drawing. So, a more complete translation would be "dear [affectionately] tiny [ironically] boy". I don't think there's a unique English word to convey what chiquitín means.

@Jilinna. Thanks for posting those images. :)

Forgive my noobidity but what started the Sergeant Whiskers thing? The fanfiction?

Nah, somebody said that he will save kitties and that he would have his personal space cat and the name Sgt. Whiskers came up.

There is, however, fan fiction with Sergeant Whiskers.

The adventures of James Vega and Sergeant Whiskers.

Reading some of the comments about the comic...people aren't very creative with their insults, are they? I think I've heard more about  Jersey Shore on BSN than I ever have anywhere else.

Anyway, more Vega (and Sheploo)!

Can't wait for the comic, but I'm not too keen on how they have drawn him or is it just me?

Well he looks a litte black-ish tanned, but it's not that big of a deal. It's more the story that interests me.

EDIT: Okay, not really that black.

I think it's his eyebrows..I love the painted version, he looks awesome in that. I just think the illustration has made him look "harsh".

He looks rather strange - far from ingame looks, as for me. And Mattock isn't similar to its ingame counterpart as well :)

Looking good, Vega *A*

I know this is not related to the game, but since Vega saves kitties, I thought maybe his fans would like to save a kittytoo. I'm trying to raise money to help saving a friend's cat life, we only have this weekend... if you can help or spread the word (via Tumblr, deviantArt and so), please PM me and I'll send you some more info :) Thank you :)

The way the artist drew him for the comic reminds me of Vin Diesel.

That comic series is something I'm definitely interested in; I'd like to learn more about Vega and see him in action, as we got to see for Aria.

Anyone who doesn't like Jack OR Vega is lame. This is a scientifically established fact.

Here, a lil fanart of Vega and my main broShep, K. I'm looking forward to know how their relationship is going to be, but if possible, I'd like K to be like a big bro :D

I like to think that Vega will teach Shepard some Spanish, too. He's calling James 'tiny' :D

Hey, sweet artwork! I love it; your ManShep and mine could be twins a little bit, from how it looks. :) That picture really makes me smile.

CDRSkyShepard wrote...

Hey Vega fans! I'm still
super-stoked for Vega in ME3! I really hope that marketing campaign
that's coming up will allow us to see more of him and his personality.
He seems like the gentle giant type. ;D

Exactly my impression of him, too. Pretty much everything about him gives me the warm fuzzies. He seems like the kind of guy who was a jock growing up, but the nice jock, you know? The kind who befriended my dad when he was a kid.

My dad was really young and flimsy at the time, whereas the jock in question was basically several years older and the biggest guy in school. So when some dudes in his year started picking on Dad, he just walked up behind them and tapped them on the shoulder to say, "Hey, you guys aren't bothering my little friend, are you?" (To which they immediately fell all over themselves denying it.) "Because if I ever heard you guys were bothering my little friend, here, I think that would make me really unhappy. You don't want to make me unhappy, do you?" (Again, there was a whole lot of "no, no! We would never!" going on.) "Good, I'm really glad to hear that, guys." And he slung his arm over my dad's shoulder and watched them walk quite hastily off in the other direction.

Those guys NEVER bothered my dad EVER again. And that's the kind of stand-up guy I see Vega as. The type who'd do something like that because he's a soldier's soldier, all about protecting and raising up the people who need a defender. I love that sense I get from him.

Ryzaki wrote...

ME1 armor was Colossus (or however it's spelled) all the way.

In
ME2 it's Kestral chest piece and arm piece, the extra health pants (the
only pants I actually like) and the Sentry Visior. Black for my adepts,
white for my infiltrators.

...well that and pink & white for my renedouche because he wants to have an excuse to punch someone in the face.

*lol* I want to steal that last idea! I haven't done a male Renegade yet, and it's really funny. :)

Colossus was definitely the best in ME1, appearance-wise. I hope they have something along those lines in ME3. Cherry-red, black, and sleek... that's how I like it.
