I'm not.  Bioware only revealed all the romance options for DA2 less than a month before release (except Sebastian, but nobody cares about him).

I thought that info was leaked in the demo? 

There even were short stories dedicated to each LI and explaining their personalities, so I think LI reveal was intentional.

I actually want more to see Vega in battle (demo?) than read something about his personality. Mostly because that dialogues with him I've seen sent me ROFL, so I'm sure nothing bad can happen with such personality, but build... Tanking squaddie is definitely not my first pick - that would be defence removers. Second pick would be for crowd controllers. Third - for snipers. Oh well.

I have a similar issue when chosing my squads. Usually, if I want a tank character, I make that my own character. I didn't take Grunt much with me in ME2 for that reason, though I do enjoy seeing him charge at enemies sometimes. I didn't have that issue with Wrex though. He was more useful.

But I'm flexible. I like the challenge. I like impractical squads sometimes, like three biotics, or two snipers and someone else (never tried three snipers at once), or engineer Shepard plus Legion plus Tali (this one is actually a great squad, you can seriously wreak havoc with those drones!)

Agreed. Don't know why, but in my games any "supposedly tanking character" which dares to pop up from cover for long enough ends up dead, Fortification or not. Sentinel or Soldier Shepard might try this trick, but also for limited duration.

But this more or less worked in ME1, so maybe ME3 will introduce something new in gameplay as well what will change tanking squaddies' usability. Just damn it, NOT Immunity. Or at least NOT Immunity for ordinary enemy soldiers as well.

Yeah, I remember watching that video a while ago...You definitely could be right about Mr. Kazak though, I wonder if imdb received this information from Bioware directly or not, but I am sure they will release the complete va list by Feburary.

I'm really going to like this character. Bioware's writing team... gah! They're just too good at their jobs. Other game's characters mostly just seem insipid and unattached now. Is Vega the only new squad member?

Chapter 9 of Under Better Circumstances is finally up. It's the best one in my opinion... even needed a cold shower. Might be awhile until the next one. It's not the end, I swear! I'll get back to writing more once I get some time.

I'm with you ThePuppetWithNoStrings, also at the risk of being beat up by anyone on the thread (I've said it before on here I believe) I love J-shore I wish I could watch it more but my mum got rid of MTV when my bro stopped watching MTV so that we weren't paying for extra stuff, but I digress. The men on that show are sexy, so if Vega looks like one to the haters that's just confirming that he's a sexy beast all the more so that back fires on them. Haters gon' hate but he's STILL IN THE GAME!

I will admit I almost teared up when he got her the chess board! The chapter where they were dancing was beautiful as well, I listened to their song while reading the chapter and it just added one more dimention to the chapter, that was one of my favorite parts and chapters!

Anyways I need to get ready for class because theres a snow storm here and I need to catch the bus but I will read it when I get home!!

Pfft, I don't think "Jersey Shore" when I see Vega. Not since he became more than a tiny Collector's Edition piclet that if you squinted really hard at, you could say things like, "I think that's probably his nose." He may be tanned, but it's not the spray-on variety, it's genetic.

'Course, the actor is half the equation. His voice is just perfect. I love that it's not excessively deep, just pleasantly so, and he sounds so natural and easy. They really picked the right actor for the part.

But I think it is wrong for us to only focus on him physically. I hope the writers give us a chance to explore this character. Get to know his personality. His history. Learn about his hopes and desires for the future of humanity. All of these things can be discussed with Shepard while they bask in the afterglow.

I personally think that since it's Bioware we have nothing to worry about when it comes to his character. They always create interesting characters and I believe James is gonna be one as well. Sure some people will hate him and others will love him, comes with the territory. But with so little info on him there is nothing much to do but discuss his appearance since we all know how he looks. You can just tell he has a story behind him that will be pretty cool. At least that's what I believe.
