When I first started play ME3, I didn't use him much as I focussed on teh characters I knew from ME1 or ME2. Now that I have started using him, I have really grown to like him. I see lots of people calling him "fauxhawk" or "meathead" or whatever. Just like all of BioWare's other charac ters, there is a lot more to the person than what they look liek on the outside.

I expect most fans who have played ME1 or ME2 will do just what I did and do a playthrough with their favorite charcaters from before. I'm hoping that once they play a second pass or whatever, they give Vega a chance. He's much better than people seem to think.

I still think it's Freddie Prinze Jr. He also speaks fluent Spanish which is good.

I find it odd that many people think Vega was added to the game to attract Gears of War-type "dudebro" gamers, and yet 90% of the posts in this thread seem to be from salivating fangirls who just want to get into his pants and speculate whether he'll be gay. Pretty much the complete opposite of "dudebros".

Maybe people who think that he will attract "dudebros" think also that said "dudebros" will be newcomers at ME3 release and they are currently not on this forum?

Oh, and one more thing: absense of "Jersey Shore" broadcasting in my country apparently helps - the most popular comment I hear here is "spacemarine", which is technically true

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but I found it interesting

So a friend of mine bought battlefield 3 the other day and inside the box was this insert promotion for Mass Effect 3  regarding early access to the multiplayer. Armor look familiar?  (sorry about the quality of the pic I took it with a webcam)



Its most definately James Alternate appearance armour. teamed up with a death mask style helmet.

We don't know yet.  There's evidence for and against it in the leaked script.

It seems like to me he has potential to be interesting charatcer so I am going to use him to see if he can be a compelling character like all the classics from past games.
