True, at least it'd calm the forum somewhat. Maybe they'll be nice and throw something of James in too since he's the new guy, not holding my breath though.

I don't really care about Ashley's armor. As long as she kicks butt, I don't care what she looks like when she does it. Oh, but that's right, I killed her on Virmire. Nevermind.

I do, however, really want to see this new Vega they're putting out there. I'm bracing myself.

You know, they're being very coy with us, I think, on purpose. I think they know our obsession w/ wanting to chew on a mystery. I mean, look here, already he has a support thread. (and strange, although I'm a Kaidan lover, I seem to look for this thread more often...)

Good God...8 months...wow. They're giving us time released info so we don't go crazy.

So, that said..when do we get to see this makeover Vega?

I think I would be cool if Bioware changed around his class depending on who you left on Virmire. Like if Ash bit the dust you would get a soldier, and if Kaidan died, you would get a sentinel.

I think that would be pretty sweet, actually. Though it's a step in the direction of making Vega less unique (he's supposed to be his own character, not just a replacement) I think that, if handled right, Bioware could totally make it work in an interesting way.

I'm Expecting a assult rifle and Sniper rifle load out like Garrus, Zaeed and Legion for James as seen in the E3 trailer and gameplay demos for powers he might be similar to soilder class shepard a might have AR

I'm seeing them staying with soldier too really, at least if they keep the body type, or that'll be one muscled sentinel.
But if the soldier besides Ashley in the gameplay movies is supposed to be James Vega or at least some placeholder for him, he'll probably be soldier.
Who is that guy really?

This has the potential to end horribly. First, if he is the S/S option I don't think I'd have the stomach to romance my apprentice. Second, he can very well turn into a Shepard fanboy, something I would hate. I already have Tali telling me how wonderful, handsome and amazing my Shepard is, I don't need Jimmy to do the same.

Plus, I was under the impression that he was a veteran. I don't see how much there is to learn. I get a Carver-vibe from him, for some reason. This pleases me.

Carver is awesome. But this thread isn't about Carver, so I'll just leave it at that. 

I do hope they don't change him too much, and I hope they keep the hair. I think people just way over reacted: some because they don't want a new character and are bitter towards him; some others because they think he looks so military that he's ripping off other games (whatever!); and still others for various reasons probably having to do with their own personal hangups, etc.

I wonder when they'll reveal him. I hope they relsease some footage at Comic Con. (I'm so impatient!)

The problem is, I think, that he has the correct proportions but for someone much shorter. In the concept art at least.

Look up pictures of Scott Caan. The proportions between the chest, arms, and legs are the same as Vega's.
Problem is Scott Caan is 5'5" while Vega's the tallest person in the picture.

Short-guy proportions + Chubby Cheeks + Taller than everybody else = Creepy Giant Baby vibe.
