My 13-year-old self just called, and she is intensely excited and waving around posters she ripped out of a Teen Beat magazine.  We are both in agreement that this is an amazing idea and James Vega is going to be seducing every single one of my Shepards.

Kaidan and Garrus need to step up their game.

I am impressed by the types of interaction (and a bit sad that something similar was not in ME2) we see between Shepard and Vega in that video. He keeps alternating between roles. At first, I see a friendly sparring and I think he is going to be Shepard's bro. Then, out of nowhere, he seems to call Shepard "old" which suggests that he will be Shepard's padawan instead.
I also liked his conversation about "intel" and how he seems to have a very mature "Mission First" attitude. I like what I am seeing of him so far.
