I dont even own a post ps2 console so never played gears... or watched jersey shore (never even heard of it till people startied moaning about vegas looks) and dont play fps's outside TF2 and I like vega and his muscles... yummy

Regarding Gears: Funnily enough, I was on my xbox yesterday and noticed the GoW advertisement with Marcus Fenix and, physically, he did remind me of Vega. However, they are two completely different characters, and I'm certainly not comparing the two of them. I haven't seen the other thread, though from what I've read here it seems it isn't good, but I'll take Vega over Fenix any time.

Saw this and thought it was sooo cute!

I love Kaidan too, but what he said on Horizon...that was low and hurt lol. This is how I will react in ME3

Do you guy's think we will be able to use Vega in the ME3 demo at all or will we only end up being allowed to control just Garrus and Liara? The demo thread says we will not be allowed to pick our own squadmates so I assume the only squad-mates that will be play able are Garrus, Liara and in the beginning Anderson if I am correct?

I think it's possible we might play first 2 missions.

Earth and Mars.


They did say we will pick some ME1/2 choices in Demo and putting Ashley and Kaidan choice would be a bit pointless since we would see them like for few seconds saying just a couple of line.

I find it stupid liara is even an option for squadmate due to the fact shes the damn shadowbroker =/

I've heard you can only use Garrus and  Liara as squaddies in the demo. For some reason... <_< I'll see if I can verify that, I think I saw it on Twitter or something.

Like I said, we might play Mars instead of Sur'Kesh.

So squadmate would be Vega, Ashley, Kaidan and Liara.


Vega for some part on Mars, until Liara replaces him and Kaidan or Ashley.

I also think Vega will be replaced because he's the only one that deserves to be a boss and crush into Cerberus shuttle.
Plus, Liara looks to be important do to that Prothean artifact.


Also, Bioware said if you romanced Ashley or Kaidan, Shepard will help them up tenderly instead of professionally if not romanced.

So far, that's the only VS injured scene that will happen.

I just watched IGN's recap with there playthrough with there demo uk.ign.com/videos/2012/01/23/mass-effect-3-demo-spoilers (there are a bit of spoilers in the video for those thinking about watching it but its nothing new  we don't know from those who have watched the beta leak), and he said that in the 2nd half of the demo you use Garrus and Liara so I guess that means we won't have control of Vega in the demo since Chris said in the Demo thread that "In the Single Player demo you are on 2 preset missions, so you do not select your party members (this will be more clear when you play thedemo)."

If this is accurate then I am disappointed. We would only get to see him for a few minutes on earth then.

I like Garrus and Liara don't get me wrong, but come on why must they be used constantly in the marketing? I don't see why we cannot have Vega as an option as a squad-mate in the demo.

EDIT:

@Mesina- I had thought they said the 2 missions were Surk'esh and Earth? I will be so happy if it is mars! I am kinda sick of seeing Surk'esh for the billionth time.

Off topic hopefully the VS won't be injured for long, I'd like to see a Kairrahe/VS reunion on Sur'kesh

On topic its a shame they won't use Vega in the demo I'd like to try out his carnage, looks impressive

Why would they lie about it?

I also found it strange that journalists had the opportunity to play Mars part while IGN states it won't be available for demo, but Mr. Priestly stated at demo thread (sticky one) that two levels will be available: opening sequence on Earth and level on alien homeworld. Alien homeworld screams "Sur'Kesh" to me.

Or there was change of plans I don't know about?
