Who knows maybe the fight scene will turn into a smouldering sex scene between Vega and Shep. I am not complaining

For me it's not about sparring in general ... I grew up with three brothers and we boxed up until I started developing and then my body (breasts) said nope.

When I saw that Vega not only punches Shepard in the face but also in the stomach I winced.

Seeing a man bloody a woman and punch her in the stomach in a "friendly" bout is a wtf (to me)?

But if it is in the game as is ... Shepard will survive as I will believe that Bioware will present it in a way that makes sense. Not upset, just curious as to how the team has pulled this off.

im not seeing why its different for him to punch a male shepard in the gut/face than it is a female one expecially when femshep isnt some dainty damsel in distress and can headbutt krogan without a helmet on for teh lulz and does everything male shep does (other than romances)

I am fortunate to have big strong guys in my life and not one of them would consider sparring with a female like that. So I just have to understand why someone like Vega would think nothing of doing that with a woman.

I just wished that playing different genders pushed the devs to create a different response/cutscene but since Ash & Kaidan don't get their own universes (hoping that changes in ME3 ) then why should Male/Female Shepards.

It would sure add to the replay value as well as encourage playing both genders.

The human skull is an extremely hard thing to break and Shep headbutted the krogan "right" way. The nose ain't that tough so I don't see a problem with getting a bloody nose in a fight. Hell in UFC fights you see lots of bloody noses and cuts near the eyes.

well maybe he respects femshep enough to think she can handle him(becuase you know shes a highly trained elite N7 marine with extensive modifications) not holding back because I know if some one held back against me during a training/boxing/sparring session just because of my gender id be pretty insulted


and no im not saying its ok to abuse any one also

And I'm sure in-game that female Shepard can hold her own against the big guy (thank you Lazarus project) ... I'll be really interested to see how they handle Vega with FShep VS MShep. It will probably be the same as the Yahg.

Of course, I wouldn't spar against a man sans gloves, mouth piece or head protection though. And then it would still look like Jerry Lewis (me) boxing Ali!

True enough. I guess I can head canon that's where Miranda slipped up on making the nose better.

You my friend will fit right in! Welcome to the Vega Thread!! *passes around more cookies* What I bolded is exactly one of the reasons why I like him, he is a normal guy! How many of those are in ME without being called dull and boring?

They are a rare breed and Vega is not by any means dull or boring his is witty, goofy, sincere, straight forward and blunt that is why I like the guy! I think he is attractive because of his scars and tattoes, this guy has personality and I wouldn't want him to look any other way.

I have been trying to make the Vega smolder part into a gif but I haven't figured how to make a gif without using gif.soup.com since I want it HQ.
