No it has not been.

And no it isnt likely he is going to be "gay".

Bioware are NEVER going to have an exclusively homosexual character. Never. Certainly not a grunt type soldier boy like Vega.

He may be the second BISEXUAL male SS option for MaleShepard to balance out the likelihood that FemShep will have two SS options in ME3; as it seems highly likely given Raphael Sbarge's comments that he is recording exclusive SS lines for Kaidan/Male Shep romances that both Kaidan and Ashley will be coming out in ME3.

Hello again. Been hard at work the past two three weeks so I haven't had time to check up on our good friend Vega. Good to see more Vega & Sgt Whiskers images. Also, first femShep related image. Hoping for some more of that.

His ignorance about the universe will probably annoy the hell out of me. I know he is in the game for new players, but I will hate having to constantly educate him in the politics of the galaxy. I wont be surprised if my Shep ends up slapping him and tellign him to STFU. On the other hand, new blood in an established story is always good. And maybe he can satisfy you guys with the S/S interest so Bioware will leave the established characters alone.

I wouldn't call it prejudice. I wish I had a word for someone who has a pre-established notion of a character that if anything changes or is new to the character then its bad/out of character. 
This is however not a bad trait however - it can go either way (). But in the case of sexuality - it's a trait that cannot be determined just by looking at a guy or by his personality. Characters like Kaidan or Ashley never talked about what exactly they are attracted to. Both are attracted by the opposite sex - no dispute. But whose to say that someone of the same sex can't come around and do some swooping? Yes, yes. Swooping is bad. But remember that if you really want to look at this realistically, sexuality is a spectrum. I'd give you that both characters fall on the hetero side but very rarely will someone fall at either extreme end of said spectrum.

Neither would I, as prejudice is either a noun or a verb, and I don't think Valdrane78 is the physical embodiment of prejudice.  Throw a d on the end and we're all set.

But nothing new about Vega? They haven't even told us who his voice actor is?

(I'm still hoping for Michael Fassbender).

I might be wrong but I was really certain he was interviewed at comic con saying that he had indeed been recording romance lines for Kaidan and MaleShep.

If that is indeed the case, assuming we arent getting smoke blown up our bums, then it seems likely that Kaidan is going to be bisexual in ME3 and if Kaidan is being made Bi then its fairly safe to assume so will Ashley.

Like I said might be totally wrong; they might be having us on. But I dont think they are.

It would be easier and more cost effective to have Kaidan and Ashley "come out" in ME3 as bisexual and introduce only "new" bisexual character; than it would be to introduce three brand new bisexual characters.
I say three because the whole point of introducing SS in ME3 is to be fairer and more inclusive; so they arent going to introduce one new bi male character and one new bi female character because it would give Lesbian FemShep 2 romance options (3 if you count Kelly and she is in ME3) and only give Gay ManShep one option.

By what I remember of the interview, it sounds like he was. IssacShep would know for sure, I think he first posted it.

I really want to hear his voice, hoping he'll appear in a release trailer or perhaps the FemShep one.
