While we still have little info on him so cant comment if i like him yet.

But having read that comic i am afraid that he will be a sterotypical emo character for teen girls. I just hope i'm wrong

While I don't deny that Vega probably has issues, being a character in a Bioware game and all that, I'm surprised that what you got from the comic was a "sterotypical emo character".

Now, about Vega's tattoos:

If he have a tiger/eagle/dragon tattoo on his back, we're going to have a problem here.

Edit: for the record, I'd rather Vega HAD major issues than to have very few. Very few issues = Jacob, and Jacob is more boring than watching paint dry.

I actually like Jacob. I think it's less about the character and more about the execution, but that's not the place to discuss him.

In the Varric thread we were able to guess Varric's voice actor right. And since we don't have much to do, who do you guys think Vega's VA will be?

Don't you know that having the same hairstyle means you're exactly the same person? This guy looks EXACTLY like Marylin Monroe because the hair is the exact same:

Didn't really think much of James Vega when they announced him. I must admit, I half-expected another Jacob rehash...

And then I read that comic!

Ripping a television off the wall, beating the crap out of Batarians with it, and tackling one through a window, falling a whole story? Now that is what I call an epic squaddie! Basically, if he's that awesome in the game, I think my Renegon Femshep might just have to dump Kaidan. But yeah, his character is looking good so far! Next step is finding out who his voice actor is.

Is it me or do they look like tire tracks ...? I doubt it's supposed to be, but they're just weird to me. I guess it's tribal *I'm not a tattooist/expert and I wont pretend to be lol* but it just seems very intricate ...? I don't know.
At first I thought it was just the comic's way of drawing them, but it seems the same in the screenshots *or whatever we're callin' 'em*
