I was more thinking bromance is gonna be overshadow in this thread and there will be people who won't visit it do to gayness.

Not saying I'm against for him to be S/S romance at all and in contrary support it, just fearing it will end up like Kaidan support thread( though that is because of whole different reasons) with absolute no bromance.

Hudson: The story of Mass Effect 3 is a lot more authentic to a war story. So people are wrong to think, “Who are the permanent squad members?” Permanent friends in a war story betrays the concept! So we will be adding people and taking people away. All your friends from previous Mass Effect games will be there somewhere– if they’re alive! And James Vega is one of the new guys you pick up with you as you’re escaping from Earth. He’s interesting because we haven’t had somebody like this before – he is not as worldly as some of the other characters we’ve met. He’s an Alliance Marine, maybe like a younger version of Shepard.

Guess it wasn't that cold in the studio. 

As for bromance...I know my canon Shep will be bromancing (his love is Tali with Miranda acting as a motherly/big sister thing)him while my MChaoticParagon will be romancing him. I still haven't decided which one of my females (since I'm not holding my breath for a 100% homosexual character) will take a go at Mr. Muscles. Maybe it's because I haven't created her yet....
