I think that it would be more interesting to see the conflict between Real!Shep and Idealized!Shep, especially if Shepard is a jerk/she-jerk. Vega must think s/he's some kind of super wo/man, I wonder what he'll think when he realize that Shepard is just human.

Especially if what the devs are saying is true and not all decisions end up the way we think they will. What would Vega (and the other squadmates) think when Shepard screw everything hard because s/he was too soft/rude/shortsighted/wtv?

Sounds good to me, but if they give Vega the Shotgun as a second Weapon, he should have one survivability skill.
So I would only change Concussive Shot for a Shield.
I'm hoping that he gets the Widow. Widow + Carnage could be a lot of damage.

Concussive shot looks unlikely - I recall hearing "Ashley and Garrus both have concussive shot", so if James wasn't mentioned, he... didn't have CS at that stage of development? Things may easily change, of course. So:

- Incendiary Ammo
- Carnage
- Fortification (Grunt's loyalty talent, shield boost-like)
- Some grenade. Inferno Grenade, maybe? Hm, Inferno Grenade and Incendiary Ammo together... unlikely. Nah, this is my wishlist, so why not.

omfg Rivalmance with Vega ftw! friggen loved that in DA2. Well only with certain characters, cause some other characters was just uncomfortably abusive.

And if he's gay, it's going to be like Arcade Ganon all over again and my best friend is going to be whining in my ear over xbox live.

I'll still bring him along anyways. I'm more concerned about his personality.
