YES! That's exactly what I want (plus the rough sex on the beach, LOL). I seriously hope he's the S/S romance option for manShep and that they have a rivalmance kind of thing.

The first (and last) homosexual-only character was Juhani and her romance was... lacking. When people say "gay Vega", just think "bi Vega".

Also, I think it would be healthier for the thread if we just ignored the trolls instead of trying to argue with them - if only for the sake of not being bored to tears by their "opinions".

Bioware doesnt have time to read forums. It probably just looks at page counts. In which case you should be happy, im boosting it.

Mmhm! If it was a separate troll thread, I'd be trolling it up and down with gifs. But I don't want THIS specific thread closed.

Anyway, I would love for Vega to be exclusively gay. It would be a pretty big step forward for Bioware and it would seem more realistic to me than just having several bisexual characters. It's kind of hard to believe that in Shepard's large crew there isn't at least one purely homosexual character. It would also be interesting to see Bioware turn the gay stereotype in video games upside down and make Vega a badass, rash, difficult character with layers.

I think I'd prefer this to the "everyone is bi!" approach we (almost) saw in DA2. Still, though, I'm fine with "everyone is bi!" but I can see why people complain about it.

To get back to Vega, is there some reason you guys seem to favor him having Incendiary Ammo over another type? I guess if we no longer have Jacob or Grunt, someone has to provide it. I think if Vega is supposed to have a survivability focus, Cryo Ammo and its increased utility options might be a better bet. Perhaps the developers think Cryo Ammo is too powerful for squadmate use, though.

It wouldn't bother me if Vega was bi, the only reason I would care if he was gay would be because I couldn't romance him with my femshep =[ I never ever play as maleshep so boo D=
But yeah I am really really excited for James Vega I wanna know who is VA is XD

Destroy his character? Oh, please...

Romances are fanservice in and of themselves at this point. What does it matter who the targeted demographic is?

Pretty much! Although I feel bad for all the boys that want Keiden and all the girls that want Ash. I know it would suck for them not to get the L.I. they have grown to be fans of over the course of the series. To me though, I would be perfectly happy with just Vega and him being gay. It would be interesting, not just as an S/S supported, but from a writing and character development perspective. Who would be the female equivalent thought? Vigilante?

Hell, i dont know im not a physiologist. Noone here is eligible
to discuss such things. We would all miss the point by a lightyear. Keeping gay males separated is the solution everyone is happy with i think, like Zevran, especially for those who do not want to suddenly find out Garrus or Wrex could be gay, lol.

Granted I'd be a little disappointed if he was strictly gay  just 'cause I wanna have my femshep snag 'em up (Because lets face it our customized Sheps are kinda like OC's in a fanfic, at least that's the way I see it:whistle:) Any word on who our gays/bi options are yet? (I'm gunna guess no )

Thinking about Vega and how he formerly idolized Shepard, do you think he'll probably mention your military history? He seems to be one of the easiest characters where it could be brought up without feeling like an old topic and would be interesting to see him deal with real Shepard.

The Butcher of Torfan might not like being idolized.
