Thinking about Vega and how he formerly idolized Shepard, do you think he'll probably mention your military history? He seems to be one of the easiest characters where it could be brought up without feeling like an old topic and would be interesting to see him deal with real Shepard.

The Butcher of Torfan might not like being idolized.

It's possible. It would be interesting to have a character questioning Shepard's dicisions, even if they are past decisions. A curious character can be very interesting, if well made.

And about Vega being gay/bi - it honestly wouldn't bother me if he were exclusively gay, but I doubt that'll happen. Besides, Vega should be available for everyone, eh? eh? ;D

I think so, yes. However, judgin by how he has no problem beating up batarians, I'm not sure if the Butcher of Torfan is going to be a problem...

I'd think that if Vega has issues with the Butcher of Torfan, it'd be the fact that Ruthless Shep sent most of his/her unit to die, rather than the deaths of batarian criminals...

I wasn't really liking Vega until the recent comic that came out.

I think the comic itself is terrible and tries to hard to characterize vega in a few pages, but it paves the way to how shep is going to know vega. Since vega is going to guard your cell, shep will have plenty of time to get to know him, form some sort of bond there.

The vibe I get is similar to Aveline from DA2. (My favorite character in DA2) The guardian so to speak.

It would be awesome if he was the confident type, I know for gameplay reason's Shepard has to initiate the romance but would be cool for someone else to take the reigns after initiation.

I always kinda feel my Shepard persaudes people into romances. Maybe just me though.

I remember him being jealous about Zevran and his attitude was just perfect! It'd be kind of cool in Vega's case, especially if he's an all out kind of badass with an alpha male type streak. He's young and rash and ready to jump into fights, but completely and utterly lost about relationships and courtship.

I wouldn't mind Alistair in space, with just enough differences to make it less than obvious.  The Alistair romance is my favorite video game romance ever.  Mass Effect could learn a few things from DA:O in the character development department.

At this point I don't think he's going to be Alistair in space. He might be a little clueless to some events, but he's already sounding a bit dark to me. He's got some major baggage apparently, so I can't see him being entirely too Alistair-y.
