It was confirmed that he will be Soldier no matter what but will have different skills then Ashley.

I see where both of you are coming from......but have any of the characters stated that they are strictly STRAIGHT. I don't think so...we can't just assume.

Maybe he'll have (Squad) Cryo Ammo and can save my Vanguards, Infiltrators, and Soldiers some skill points.

The hair and the face. A shame, because with his blue armor he looks kinda cool. Oh well, I'm gonna be using Garrus and Liara anyway.

It certainly isn't Shepard. (considering he jumps on a ship next to the same dude). And Shepard doesn't wear the same armor as everyone else last I checked. (He needs to be *iconic*)

But the in-game description mentions that a human can't use a Widow without shattering an arm.
