Shep is somewhere between 29 and 31 depending on whether or not you count being dead for a while.  It's not that massive a difference.

Oh, definitely.

I kinda felt like a cougar going for Garrus, to be honest.  At least, I would have had he been the same complete nerd he was in ME1.

You know what we need?  Screenshots and gameplay footage.  More Vega.

@Confused-Shepard: No thanks. I love Alistair, I do, but Alistair's personality + Vega's background does not mesh for me.

Honestly, "Garrus?" was my first association when heard "mid twenties".

And for "mid twenties is a bit too young" - Tali is also in that age, Jack is 24, Liara is "barely an adult"... How old is Kelly? MaleShep is a strange person - only Miranda is 35:huh:

Edit: personality of Alistair didn't amused me even with Alistair. However, I'm far from judging characters by their VAs, so even if Alistair and James will share voice, I'll wait for actual game to take a decision.

And about all the Alistair-thingie, if Vega share his personality I'll probably stop liking him. One of the reasons I'm draw to Vega (besides ridiculously huge pixel arms) is that he looks fresh, something new.

Yeah, I hope Bioware doesn't recycle character personalities. While I am not for another Alistair (preferred Zev anytime) I really don't want GRR ANGST either (would have taken Varric over angst princes Fenris & Anders).

Also keep in mind that humans live longer in the Mass Effect universe due to medical advances.  An age difference of 6 years doesn't mean much to many humans in their 20's now.  I can't see it being significant or even worthy of mention in ME3.

I think he could tone down his angst a little bit, or have a personality instead of just pure angst. But I kinda like the angst. It has potential.

The angst for Vega is probably unavoidable. Even from his comic you can see that he has some pent up rage and issues about that incident in Fehl (even Anderson mentions it). But if the writers are careful they can make it a plus instead of making players get sick of him very quickly. I think that they'll do it right this time though, let's stay positive

As for his age I think it's a perfectly fine age if he's romanceable. Shepard is not that much older is he?

INORITE? She was originally created to mod-romance Jack but I decided that it was way too much of a pain. So it's likely that I would put her with Vega, they could share fauxhawk maintenance tips. I hope she gets a good fauxhawk substitute in ME3

That entirely depends. Shepard can be 31, 29 or even 0. Depends on how you look at the whole getting-resurrected-after-being-dead-for-two-years-thing.
