Okay so yeah, I can't find the source for Garrus's age (sorry!) but I can confirm that Jacob is definitely younger than Shep.

Jacob was born in 2157 and eventually joined the Alliance military.

Shepard was born on April 11, 2154

Hey... We should totally celebrate Shepard's birthday annually, post-ME3...!

This made me giggle a lot. But actually, he's in perfectly good shape for his age. In fact, I would argue it's more likely for him to be in the shape he's in when he's yourger than at 26. Most men begin to produce less testosterone after the age of 25, making it harder to build muscle. I know a few guys that are 19 and are built like brick walls. I'm 24 and definitely bigger than Vega too. It wouldn't be out of the ordinary, believe it or not!

26? Aw Jamie, he's so young! OK I'm younger than him but that doesn't matter.

His body seems plausible to me, I like that there are going to be different body types in ME3. Some people are just bulkier than others. I think some players' male Shepards are going to be feeling a little insecure next to hunka beef Vega

I hope he's also really intelligent, just to throw it in the faces of the haters who say he's nothing but a meathead/Jersey Shore dude. If he busts out some serious brainpower my Shep will be all. over. him. I'll probably make one just for him anyway. He's starting to sound like he would have a lot in common with a Sole Survivor Shepard...
