Great theory's on how James Vega perspective of Shepard
James Vega see's Shepard as the perfect Alliance soilder, Shepards know's how to get the job done, and Vega wants to be like Shepard the best Alliance soilder , though when he was Fehl what happened there was too much for him and he felt guilty about what happened there, and most likely dishounrably discharged and decieded to punish himself by going to Omega, I could imagine that Vega envy's (sp) how Shepard was able to cope with terrible events like Virmire and Akuze/Torfan as if he wants to be Shepard 2.0
I like the idea you brought up about maybe Vega being a bit envious at shepard because of the events on Fehl!
If Vega was trying to be the perfect shepard he got the disastorious mission part accomplished, but he sees Shepard got away from those events like Virmire, Akuze/Torfan/Skylian Blitz unscratched, and therefore sees himself as a failure because he can't get over the events like the "perfect shepard" can suposedly.
I bet Vega is going to reintroduce whatever happening in each Shepards background and how he/she coped with it, in order to help himself move on from whatever happened on Fehl.
I can picture a really close relationship between Vega and Shepard
I want more information on Vega and Fehl.... You hear me bioware!!!!

Perfect! That's how I see Vega, just hope that's the case and not something superficial.

Could be that Vega has a romantized image of the kind of man Shepard is suppsed to be. According to the Alliance vids, Shepard is the ideal solider and a god amongs men.
I believe Dhiro meant to imply he would no longer hold a romantised view of Shepard as the game continues on. Vega'll see the man he was in awe of is just a regular human being like the rest of, who just happened to be placed in unfavourable situations with an extrodinary amount of luck andskill on his side.
I agree with previous statements, when Vega and Shepard begin to work together (after trial of course), the younger marine would begin to see Shepard as some kind of mentor figure. My hypothesis is that Vega would probably inquire about the truth behind Shepard's actions (more like demand, Shepard was his idol after all) and as Shepard tells him about the Reapers, Vega then makes the decision totrust him but it doesn't come into play until the trial is interrupted.
That's my ten cents.
I agree I think that was Anderson's intent all along to make Vega stop idolizing Shepard and just instead accept the person Shepard is so Vega could move on and forgive himself for whatever happened on Fehl, once he realizes hero's are not perfect.
& Oh! Out of curiosity has Bioware said anything or acknowledge Srg. Whiskers yet as James pet? Whatever Bioware decides Srg.Whiskers = Cannon!
