I'm calling it now: the UK CE will have half the stuff the NA edition has, if that, and many buyers will recieve the normal edition by mistake.

Also, am I right in thinking that only the CE comes with that Prothean Adventure/Companion dealy? Not even all new copies or even pre-orders? This does not sit well with me, if true.

The Game listing doesn't say what our version of the CE actually includes.

Until I see some confirmation that we get the same content as the US version then I'll wait.

I think they use Royal mail for posting and the shiping cost is why they dont do international for 1kg and over. Its £10-£12 untracked to say germany and only if the item is under £45. If the item is over £45 the 
postage
 cost goes to £35 for 2kg and over your at about £15 for untracked uninsured and £50 for tracked and insured.

Ouch, ok. I didn't know it was that much. Makes sense that GAME doesn't want to ship at these rates. Thx for the info

I've generally found GAME good for sending games out, last 2 games I got, I actually got day before the UK release dates.

It's weird...

If you ask for the more expensive guaranteed next day delivery then they send it out on the Thursday to arrive Friday.

If you go with the free delivery then they send it out on the Wednesday to arrive Friday.  But it nearly always arrives on the Thursday.

So the cheaper option is 99% of the time the better option to go for.

That's quite the price hike, I pre-ordered anyway but as the Uncanny says we had better be getting the same stuff. I haven't forgotten the Dragon Age Origins fiasco even now. Seem to remember having fun and games getting my ME2 order sent without issue as well.

Hoping Game cut at least a £10 off that price, going from £48 to £70 is quite something and I don't know why the price would be inflated that highly.

This is one case where I can't vote with my wallet or whatever though, need the third CE to go with the previous two. /isweak.

£70 is pretty standard for console Collectors Editions tbh

It's not, it's more in line with 'uber' editions such as the Invisible War/AC sets etc. This will be the most expensive game I have purchased in a long long time should it stay at this price, with the ME2 CE costing me less than £60.

Its just how us euro's are being treated badly.... even on 'import' tax (if importing from say the us), customs does a 1-1 conversion of $ to € T.T (my ce copy of aion cost me a crapton of money cause of that, and the statuette aint even that great).

I highly doubt it'll be much cheaper on amazon. (then again, maybe in euros it would be... i'll have to wait & see..)

Game is charging 70£ + about 3£ for Europe shipping, so that's about 82 euros.
I don't know, seems a lot. I'll wait for Amazon's price, even if I waited a whole week and a half to receive my DA2 last time..
Living in a non English speaking country can be a **** sometimes :/

I use game every time I preorder something. I've never had any issues and they always send it out to me on the tuesday and it arrives on the thursday, the day before release. That's with the free delivery option selected.

I mean DA2's cost nothing extra, something like Halo Reach was £50 and that had loads of stuff as well.... Is this just GAME being a rip-off again? Or is it seriosuly this expensive across the board? And what is this talk of extra companions?

I got the ME2:CE from GAME and it was £54.99. We're still a long way from the release date, so the price could drop by then.

If you pre-order now you'll pay whatever the price is at time of release, not what it was when you ordered it. Maybe they put it at £70 because they're not 100% sure what the price will be and they can't legally* put it up after you've placed your order.


(*At least I don't think they can... Don't quote me on that. )

I do want to wait to see what other places seell it for and hope for price drops, but then again they will run out of stock on these things pretty quickly I'd have thought
