Ideally I'd like home casual outfits for all companions but I'm wondering if once a LI moves in if it would be possible to mod them into wearing the Hawke bathrobe or just hide their weapons?

It's possible. Easier for Anders, tougher for Merrill since you'd need to resize the mesh so that it fits an elven female. Ishmaeltheforsaken has done some terrific work doing the latter.

I'm pretty sure you can get set a script to run when you enter the area by using a M2DA override, as long as you know the area name... then it's a question of finding the appropriate NPC in the zone and commanding her to change clothes. I don't think there's much difficulty in doing so, the hard part is figuring out which map you're on so you know where to put the override. I haven't looked for a list of all the maps in DA2 though. In theory it should be pretty easy.

If this could be doable, that would be amazing. I'd just love to see Hawke and Anders wearing their home clothes, it would be adorable. I'd have no idea where to start, but I'd certainly love to see this implemented!

Someone still has to go through all the trouble to make new models for all of the LIs because all of them have different body types than normal NPCs (except Merril). Couldn't we have a shirtless Anders and Fenris, and equivalent models for Isabella and Merril to replace their armor for the sexytime scene?
If you're already going to make casual outfits for them, might as well take that next step right? It might please some people who want the sexytimes scene to be a little more aesthetically pleasing before it fades to black.

While I would just die to see Fenris shirtless, that makeout scene takes place in the foyer of the mansion, so that's probably a no-go. I don't even want to imagine the look on Sandal's face... or more accurately, asking Bodahn what we're doing.

The scene does take place at an ambiguous time at night, so it's likely that Sandal is being/has been put to bed by Bodahn. I'd also like to think that he has the common sense to not be RIGHT THERE given that he was chilling in the party camp while the Warden and their LI were sleeping together..
