First off... AWESOME! The game looks amazing and I can't wait to play it.

But at the beginning you see the reapers attacking a city, they're size looks proportional (not so big that they swallow entire cities but still enormous). But Sovereign was two kilometers long (just over one mile), the reapers in the video seem to be the same size as the skyscrapers. Like I said they look great, but I'm not sure they're still two kilometers long.

What do you think?

The buildings in ME future are superstructures, far larger than what we can build in the real world today. Those large Reapers are, I'm assuming, the dreadnought class full-size Reapers like Sovereign and Harbinger. They are reported to also have smaller, cruiser sized ships and ground forces (one of which we see in the gameplay demo).

They are about the size of cuttlefish squid here on Earth. It's just that the humans and other aliens in the ME universe are tiny- that is the big twist coming in ME3.

I remember reading somewhere that Reapers vary in size from ~500m to ~2km

I think their size may be relative to the size and population of the soecies that was used to create them. Some former species may not have been as prolific or large as others but were used regardless due to the unique DNA requirement.

Pretty much. I'd like to assume they come in a variety of sizes and perhaps shapes. The one in one of the gameplay trailers that was chasing Shepard seemed to be a tad smaller than say, Sovereign. Then again that might just be camera perspective.

Thus 250,000 years ago the Reapers were dissapointed to find that during that cycle only one race became spacefaring and they had strict breeding protocols limiting themselves to a stable population of 2,000 members at all times.

Their combined goo, (minus fat and the uggo's) only gave them enough for a fighter-sized Reaper. And thus the Reaper Chad was born! Forever having a Napoleon complex!

Varied ship sizes make sense for tactical reasons, i suppose. Modern fleets don't consist solely of the real big ones. And small reapers for ground operations seem to be pretty useful.
Sovereign was one of the biggest and most powerful ones, probably one of the reasons it was left behind should there be troubles with opening the Citadel relay.

So the promo art shows a Reaper next to the London Eye. The London Eye comes up to a joint on its landing gear that's (by eye) about 1/7 of the apparent length of the Reaper. As the Eye is 135m high this makes the Reaper 945m tall.

Probably this. It was much scarier back when we thought that they are all of Sovereign's size.

OFFTOPIC: I was just listening to Eminem and I realized what I want from ME3: Reapers that rap.

Your end is near
B*tches have fear
We're gonna get you all
Get ready for your fall
You better motherfu*king run
Our numbers will block your sun

Well in 2011 the tallest building is almost 1km. I imagine in the future they have gotten larger possibly to 2km, and the reapers are at least = to the largest buildings in that city from what I saw in the Earth demo.

I'm not so sure of that. Being limited to dreadnoughts limits what they're capable of, and doesn't really explain how they can thoroughly purge the galaxy of evidence of past civilizations. Seeing the smaller vessels as well as terrestrial mobile platforms greatly expands on their actual methods of extermination.

Pretty much this. Sovereign was the Vanguard of the Reapers, one of the most powerful left in the Milky Way in case something went awry. Like it did. Had it not been Sovereign but a smaller Reaper, perhaps it wouldn't have gotten as far as Nazara.
