I read on the ME wiki that Zaeed is confirmed to appear in ME3, squad member or not, and probably depending on the suicide mission outcome. But where is Kasumi? Between the two DLC characters, I found her to be the more interesting, fun, and combat effective, as well as one of the two best female characters in the game (excluding female Shepard). The exclusion of Kasumi from ME3 won't deter me from buying the game, but it will be disappointing.

She's looting the Citadel. She waves at Shepard with a bag of expensive and priceless artifacts and whatnot as Shepard is shooting husks and saving the Turian Councilor.

Also confirmed to appear with a "Trollface" during this sequence.

There is still a lot we don't know. Don't jump to conclusions just yet. My guess is she will get the same treatment as Zaeed.

I'm Commander Shepard and Kasumi is my favourite character on and off the Citadel... so far. Playing thru ME2 for the 1st time and she's just brilliant. Need her to be in ME3, her story is far from over.

I don't think DLC characters will play a big role.

After all most people who played Mass Effect 2 never had Zaeed or Kasumi on their squad. I'd bet on them being in the game, but just in a cameo or joining your squad on a side mission.

why wouldn't most people that play ME2 have them? Zaeed was available right away to everyone, Kasumi most people should have tried.

I'd rather not see much of Zaeed again but Kasumi could be nice.

Kasumi will be in the game, along with every other squaddie in ME2. It was confirmed in the Q&A with Jesse a few days ago.

If I had been drinking when I read this, it might have come out of my nose.   Lawlz. 

I'm rooting for Kasumi she's just great, it's too bad she wasn't a 'ful' character with proper dialogue sequence on the Normandy I would have loved to talk to her about her past a lot more and her lost beau. I felt that my Shepard had that in common with her and I instantly took to her. Plus I love to see her pop behind an enemy and punch them. XD

She went the sad way of DLC characters that weren't already meant to be part of the game (here's looking at you Shale!).

They don't seem to get the attention they deserve. Which is a shame since they're usually fairly interesting if not flushed out.

No offence to you Aedan but everytime I see someone come out with this alleged 'logical' response, it baffles me...

With regards the part I've bolded? Really? Right because the majority of people never downloaded anything did they? Which makes the reason why Bioware kept releasing DLC odd and which is why people were constantly telling them that they didn't want any DLC.

Only, that isn't true, because after ME people complained about the lack of DLC so Bioware said they'd ensure there was DLC and judging from the way people have talked about all the DLC a fair bit on these forums, clearly most people (at least on these forums) DID play ME2 with Zaeed and Kasumi in their squad.

Like I said at the start, this isn't really a dig at you Aedan but this whole silly 'belief' people have that DLC don't matter because apparently people think not many DLed it.

Now am not going to say they are going to have a big role, as I highly doubt it, but we know they will make an appearance if they survived the suicide mission (on reference to you actually having them as squadmates).

Least I hope they do for one of my Shepards...

Posters Note - The above picture is not a true representation of how that playthrough is being imported, in the import some of the dead squadmates missions were done and loyalty gained, some were failed and both Kasumi and Zaeed's missions weren't done in the final playthrough

Kasumi or no Kasumi? that is the question.

Kasumi's humor and quips cracks me up more than listening to Zaeed which I'm like 'yeah yeah shut up' LOL.

And as a response to the other posts here, didn't Bioware say that the third game's story assumes that all the DLCs happened and not just LotSB?
