Not every Geth Heretic get's wiped out or brains washed after Legion LM.

Legion's estimate is that it will take a few months to get all of the stragglers as they update periodically. So by the time of ME3 they should pretty much all be re-written.

There's something else to mention too. Having that paintjob on them means that Cerberus is actively storing and maintaining mobile geth platforms, so its not a case of "heretics playing nice with Cerberus", or is it tied to the heretics fate.

Probably Cerberus just got a hold of a geth facility and started manufacturing their own flavour of geth.

I think they're just there to screw up some trust issues with resolving the Geth/quarian conflict, since the heretics were potentially dealt with in ME2. But it also gives a very powerful weapon to Cerberus, I mean, if the methods they use to hack the Geth are quick and mobile, things might get problematic...

I sold Legion to Cerberus.

A fair point. Also, I didn't sell Legion to Cerberus. What did we prove?

It's unclear whether given screenshot depicts a situation based on prior choices. That's why my primary argument is Project Overlord. Regardless of what you did there, or even if you didn't do it at all, it's still a story DLC and is universe-wise canon, setting in stone that Cerberus have at least made serious attempts at controlling the geth.

And seeing as the Illusive Man has contacts in the Migrant Fleet (LoTSB), re-enacting the whole thing with a few subtle nudges here and there might not have been a problem.

And I don't think heretic geth would paint themselves up, I don't understand why this isn't evidence enough. Cerberus always liked spamming their insignia.

A "facility" would manufacture mobile platforms, and doing that isn't a problem. What Cerberus would need is to gain control over the geth's neural network, or re-create the whole thing entirely. And they probably didn't go with the latter since, well, like you said - the platforms are the same, they just have the new paint job.

Yeah, you can probably expect Cerberus Rachni as well.

I wonder if they'll get stylish catsuits as well?

I am not sure some of it would depend on one thing what is cannon for legion's loyality quest overriding the heretics or blowing them to heck.

I think if you saved David, there will be fewer and weaker Geths, but, if you leave David with the assho- I mean his brother, there will be more "Cerberus Geth" and they will be stronger
