Quick note here. If this thread becomes full of constant immature bickering of how much Bioware sucks or how much ME3 has let you down 9 months before actual game release I will proceed to slap you all with a large trout.

Alright. So I know Casey and other people have said that they are improving RPG elements in Mass Effect and gave a few examples on how they will be doing that, and so far I kind of like what I've heard. I'm pretty sure they will be releasing more information on that aspect over the course of 9 months. Though one thing I really like about most RPG games is that there is a lot of character interaction and development. Thats one of the big reasons I am a fan of Mass Effect. Don't get me wrong, I loved ME2. But one thing that sort of let me down was the lack of dialouge for many of the squadmates in that game. I mean, you randomely turn up alive after two years of being and they find out collectors have been behind the colony attacks and they have barely anything to say? I could understand if they are speechless, but come on now.

I know ME3 is going to have more squadmate dialouge and development but to what extent exactly? As in, hopefully characters like Garrus, Tali, Liara and everyone else will have much more to say or do during an all out galactic war caused by huge ass walking starships, right?

I really, really hope there is at least some on the fly squad-mate interactions. Its one of those little things that REALLY adds to the game and also hugely improves re-playability.

I absolutely agree on the importance of character interaction and development.

Casey tweeted a while ago that the writers have come up with some mold-breaking ideas to implement squadmate interaction.
I, for one, am cautiously optimistic.

Also, could someone please be obnoxious? Because I would love to see some trout-enhanced slapping.

Have to admit.  I'm interested in what they're going to do with the interactions too.

And I really, really want to know what they're doing about the squadmate armour customisation and squad helmets because unfortunately from what i've seen so far ( which admittedly isn't much ), it looks like were stuck with the same crap system that ME2 uses.

Ehhh....I wouldn't call ME2's system crap as much as I would say that it could have been improved. Though I think they've done that in ME3. We'll see what happens in the next months.

Though back to the topic. Yeah, next to exploration I really want to see more squad and character dialouge there.
