Poor fan service at E3 (Edit: Foot in mouth! Thank you Bioware, for lifting my RPG concerns)

They should have did the same for ME3. Show us this skill tree, and how you can level and what you get from it.
Fans want to know this. An rpg fan who never experienced Mass Effect or knows next to nothing about it is going to see that, see its a shooter and move on.

How many RPG fans are there who don't know about ME?

Funny how those aren't spoilers.
Just paid Bethesda $60 today, gonna give them more too when they announce a super collectism edition

And I feel very conflicted about seeing more dialog. On one hand I want to see more but I do not want spoilers. So I rather not get more dialog.

I love the "They cant show anything, its spoilers" yet we already know from what they have shown, cerberus works with reapers and the VS is a spectre.sympathy4saren wrote...
It's amazing how everything is a spoiler unless its that "sick new melee ability" or "check out improvements in combat."

I think its just people in denial.
Bethesda can take my money, they earned it.
And I bet thats why ME3 was pushed back, they saw a real rpg and a threat to sales of their "rpg" tps.

E3 is about marketing your game to potential consumers who might not otherwise be aware of or buy their product without a strong advertising campaign.... E3 is geared to inform the general masses who may not be dedicated gamers who are in the know about Mass Effect.
Whether you like it or not, E3 is a marketing event... there's no point in showing people who already plan to buy the game stuff they want to see.... they need to show people who don't know about their game the stuff that will make them want to buy it in the first place.
Bioware is in the business of making money, lest you forget... they want the most money they can get their hands on... you do this by marketing to people who are potential customers.... not existing / near guaranteed customers.
To summarize.... E3 is not for you and me... it's for the unwashed masses who aren't already Mass Effect fans.

Not really, you'd be surprised how fast 9 months goes by.
Feels like E3 2010 was just yesterday.

There will be more of the things you are looking for (OP) between now and Comic Con, and at Comic Con where we will be having a pretty huge fan area.
There were some items listed on the ME3 CE description that turned out to be duds, such as the Prothean Downloadable Character.
Will there be an official correction listing what comes in the CE?

Marketing must always commit many necessary evils, plus Bioware promised not to spoil the story too much like they did with ME 2.
this is kinda true - the things that are shown/released for E3 (or any show) are not decided by one person for example, it's a big machine with many cogs.
I can say this: if you loved ME2, you will love ME3 - probably a lot more. This is the main thing to keep in mind. It will lose nothing and will only gain better RPG elements, better action, awesome story and incredible moments. I've seen things taking place between characters you guys are gonna flip over. I guess all I can say is be patient, we are still 9-10 months from launch.

Dude, if you do plan to show us some of ME3's RPG elements over the next several months, could you please give us a taste of the squad armor system?
I demand to know if Ashley will be wearing her white-and-pink punk armor during the super-sexy Reaper battles.
BTW, GREAT job on the look and feel of the game. It looks like Mass Effect, feels like Mass Effect, but looks so much better than Mass Effect.

What if you loved ME1, but found ME2 to be "good, but disappointing" though? What of those who found ME2 to be too action-oriented and too "Modern Hollywood" and not enough "classic sci-fi?"
