I'm assuming now.
They can't with Reapers because it requires a mind meld with the mate, and as Reapers are machines and not organic in anyway I don't think they could. Kind of an analog/digital deal.
They can't with husks because... well... they don't have minds anymore.
Actually Reapers have organic components, that's why they need all of that organic sludge pumped into them.

Sovereign said that Shepard touched his mind so, yes, Reapers have minds

My only problem is that I'm not sure it could work the other way. Reapers seem to have far more advanced mental structures then humans or Asari. I feel like an Asari wouldn't be able to do anything with it.Sheepie Crusher wrote...

But I'll add, that I would like to see what the Asari-Husk look like, Any links for pics yet?
It would look Asari like all Asari kids no matter what race they mated with.

Of all the dead threads to bring back... ugh.
Seriously how or why do people dig up 3 month old threads? Sigh.

While Asari don't reproduce sexually, they do need to mind meld with their mate. The Reapers are some sort of weird mix of an organic and synthetic hive mind, and the husks are just as the name emplies...empty husks. I suspect Reaper 'brains' would be incompatible with the Asari, and the husks have no minds to speak of.

This thread of squickiness might well have found the answer to defeatting the reapers xD - Try reverse engineer the Collector command implants harbinger uses to connect to the collectors mind, and try have an ardat yakshi link back the other way

If they can, then bring out the Ardat-Yakshis.
Hmm, wonder if choosing Morinth will give players an edge if they can use this little "talent" of hers to their advantage...
