Ummm... asari only need a mate with a nervous system and genetic code. Basically the asari probes their genetic code through their mind and use the diversity to replicate what it would be like if the two had a child. So... I guess seeing as Reapers have nervous systems as well as genetics.
I mean Reapers are robots but they were formed from organic material. I guess the question is if Reapers retain the genetic code of the creatures that were used to create it.
Not that is matters since and asari will never mind meld with a Reaper... wait... I can actually see that happening. Yup. Oh god. I can just see a Reaper conveniently knocked down on the asari homeworld with no way to leave. Shepard just walks up to it and Liara vulcan mind probes and discovers the Reaper's one single weakness....
Bullets.
Yup. We beat the Reapers by having Liara brain bang them to discover their secrets, because that's what heroes do.

Trying to mate with a reaper would probably cause their minds to explode.

Surely sex with mindless husks of people has a 'phelia' attached to it?
How would this even work, would the Asari have to ride on its back so the Husk couldn't chase after her?

Interesting Q but no sane Asari would want to do that.
Unless they can actually mindkill the Reapers (aka Dune The Butlerian Jihad ; the BG sisterhood destroying the Titans using their mind powers. However, this process also killed the Bene Gesserit commandos)

An even more disturbing question would be... Can Asari mate and have offspring with animals?
It would explain the Varren scale itch outbreak on the Normandy. So in other words, don't trust Asari with animals.
Mind bleach anyone?

Yes.
It's been stated ingame they don't need anything more than a bit of radiation to breed, so... they could probably be "impregnated" by anything which becomes the father (which isn't actually a fair term in this case as the "father" does absolutely nothing in the pregnancy).
