You all seem to forget that the reapers did not actually enter batarian space, hence the relay was destroyed before they could. Also, batarians are not on a single section of the galaxy, more like scattered bubbles around random mass relays.

Yes, yes they are.

The system that was destroyed in Arrival was remote and killed around 300,000 Batarians. I didn't wipe out the whole species. I'm sure the Reapers raided the Batarians, but it seems to me that the Reapers focused on heading straight to Earth. The promo materials describes the attack on Earth as a surprise, and I doubt it would be a surprise if the Reapers took the time to wipe out all of the Batarians.

According to OP's logic, the attack on Eden Prime rendered the human race extinct.

So in other words, no matter what, we won't be able to complete all missions and one species is going to die.

If one species had to die, I would've picked the Batarians were it up to me.

if it were up to me it'd be the quarians<_<

Agree, batarian threads tend to be full of illogical trolling of batarians :(

Speaking of illogical, you were preaching about not judging an entire race by the actions of a few of its members, then you proceeded to say it makes sense to blame the disease on Omega on all of humanity, because humans were immune.

The man was dying and likely delirious, and when almost all of the humans in the district were looters I don't blame him for believing that it was humans that were responsible.

Good riddance I say.

If this is the case, then I will be highly disappointed.

I wanted to do it myself.

Doom the batarians to save the entire universe seems like a reasonable price to pay, it's not like it was anything personal despite the tension between humans and batarians.
