Well, they could do like ME2 and release the demo 9 months after the release of the full game.

The demo was probably buggy as hell seeing as it's no where close to being a finished product, not to mention they probably only have the soldier class fully playable. It won't be representative of what ME3 will ultimately turn out to be either since we still have a whole 9 months before it's released for them to tweak the game. I'd rather wait for a proper demo than ask for this one that probably doesn't properly show off the game.

Sigh, first of all, they need to make sure the game is polished enough in order to release a demo. It would look even worse if they released a demo that was full of glitches and bugs.

I don't think it's legal to release a press-demo with unfinished UI features, incomplete voice acting, and placeholder music/character models.

Its perfectly legal. Its just not wise to do so.

BW should give all ME2 owners a early beta acess (1 month limit?)!!! that would be a really cool move by BW, or something like ME2 + DA2 = Beta test code for ME3, that would make me buy DA2 xD

The DA2 demo helped make my mind up wether to get it or not, after origins being super slow.

Maybe it will help see if ME3 is faster then ME2 =)

The demo is "not finished" the stuff you saw at E3 was put together as a simple demonstration of SOME of the ideas that they are trying in ME 3.  The final Mass Effect 3 may not have all the features you saw in the demo and it might even have more features that they didn't show in the demo.

The demo at E3 was a case of "hey guys look what we are doing and what we hope to achieve" it was not "hey guys this is the final product".  There is no way you are going to get the E3 demo released.

As for whether we actually get a demo I am not bothered about a demo myself.  You have to bear in mind that any work on the demo equals less time and resources spent on the main game.  I can understand them doing a demo AFTER the game has finished (to encourage people to try the game) but right now I want Bioware to concentrate totally on ME 3.

Or the regular problem solvers in the tech support forums get a beta version to help them fine tune it. After all the hard (and unpaid) work we've put in, surely we deserve a small reward wouldnt you say? :innocent:
