It's a cool idea, that I THOUGHT they would be implementing in DA2 with the Friend and Rival versions of the romances. Turns out they ended up being more or less the same though. (and either way, we never got to see the actual sex)

But on a more serious note, I'm actually indifferent so long as what happens is implemented well. The sex scenes that suck are the ones that try to act sexy but are nuetered like the DAO ones or the Miranda one. Ones that aren't trying to be sexy but were designed to be implicative or subtle to begin with work fine too (DA2, Tali, Garrus, Thane, Jack) Either do it or don't is my request. No halfway stuff.

(I'm really not scanning through....10 pages....already. This is my favorite thread here now btw...ahem...anyway....)
but there should be an option to have the mature content toned down with an option to skip, ala CoD's "No Russian" skip option. That way everyone's happy.

whatever fits the style of the game in my opinion.
for example, i love mature content like the sex scenes from Witcher 2, but i'm pretty sure something like that wouldn't fit in the ME kind of story.
ME is more romantic, nostalgic and emotional. i liked it in ME1 and ME2. im pretty sure Bioware knows what they are doing

The sex scenes with clothing in ME2 were just horribad. If you are going to keep the clothing on just don't fricken put the scene in there.

As many have said the games are rated M most places in the world anyway, and in ME 2 the sex scene felt very weak it was like they only snuggled, if they dont want to turn all animated perverts and show full body, alright but show the ass and give more scene and a replay like in ME 1 at least gves it ALOT more depth!

It varies for me. While the ME1 scenes were well done, I feel like there's some ME2 scenes which eclipsed ME1, for me, Jack's romance scene is easily the best done scene in both Mass Effect games so far. You don't always need nudity to make it a good scene.
