the game is rated M we don't even get to the level of Rescue Me on FX which is basic cable. This game is for Adults not kids, we are not asking for porn but I have seen PG-13 rated movies that are more adult than ME love scenes. :innocent:

The thing about ME2s so called sex scenes is they are dry humping. Having recently finished a playthrough where I romanced Miranda. The sex scene (lol) had her taking the top part of her outfit off and then proceed to dry hump. And they want us to believe their having sex... No it takes away the moment and makes me shake my head. It almost ruins the entire sequence and insults our intelligence. This is the game industry as a whole scared of what Faux news will say if they grow some balls.

The Wither 2 had awful sex scenes. "Omg boobs, so mature!" They were tasteless. Not romantic at all.

Some scenes in The Witcher 2 were indeed "tasteless". But would you honestly say that the scene between Geralt or Rivia and Triss Merigold was tasteless and not romantic? I don't think so. It's the most romantic scene I've seen in a video-game so far.

I haven't played the game. Maybe it makes more sense in the context of the game. But to me, nudity like that would be really out of place in a Mass Effect game. 

I really don't get this attitude. It's a supposed to be a sex-scene...but somehow nudity is out of place for that ?

I thought all the scenes with Triss in TW2 were really well done. I do not expect BW to implement such "r-rated" scenes in Mass Effect but I'd at least hope they return to the level of ME1.

This increasing politcal correctness BW is displaying in their latest games is really, really irritating.

I'll actually be very disappointed if the culmination of the romance over three games is a sex scene, regardless of maturity. That would be a lame way to go out.

In fact, I kind of don't want a sex scene at all, at least not with any of the old romances. That was nice in the previous games, as a sign that the relationship had become 'official', but now that we've moved past that point, I want to see something else.

I haven't played The Witcher 2 yet, but I know some of the backstory, etc etc.

The reason nudity and just outright sex makes sense in that game is because Triss and Geralt are already together.

This isn't their first time, they aren't falling in love. Its not supposed to be a romantic sex scene.

Its supposed to be, "Hey, since we're here and all that, wanna *expletive*?"

Same when Geralt bangs anyone else in that game. Its dirty because its supposed to be.

In ME though, they're much more romantic. Or at least, they're supposed to be.

ME1 romance scenes- Romantic and tasteful. Very well done.

ME2 romance scenes- COME ON, REALLY!?

Garrus- Comedy and a head bump. Riiiiiight.
Thane- Crying and I think a kiss? I don't play FemShep.
Jacob- Corny lines and...the worst of the bunch, ignore.

Miranda- Pretty much under the same context of TW2's scenes only its left to dry humping and Miri isn't in a long relationship with Shepard beforehand. In other words, badly handled. (that's what she said)
Tali- This one was well done. Fit perfectly, but wish it was longer. Too damn short.
Jack(Renegade)- This one was THE moment that might've been okay to go overboard on, but its okay if it didn't. Still, it ended with dry humping.
Jack(Paragon)- Fine the way it is, if only they implied sex occurred better.

Kelly- Fade to black, implications made. Would've been nice for there to be an actual scene, but they probably would've messed it up like many of the others.
Samara- No real scene. Pseudo-romance without sex. Makes sense.
Morinth- Death. That's about it.

Does Bioware need to go the TW2 route? No.

They need to go the ME1 route. And this time, don't let Fox News win.

I think it's been widely accepted that no sex occured with Jack, it was just a lot of emotions in that scene.

Like what? I would like some small, tender moments, but Ash and Shepard have been separated for 2-3 years. AFAIK Ash hasn't been with anyone else and still loves Shep. I think there is a lot of pent up emotions going on. Liara was the same way. Granted, I liked those moments with Liara, even at the end where there was only the fade-to-black. When the SB was defeated, Feron freed, and her 2 year ordeal was finally over, she broke down and cried. While Ash is a strong woman, she's also only human. As many have said, nobody wants porn. I can find that whenever I want.  I do want BioWare to reward those who stayed faithful with something special. I believe they promised such when ME2 came out.

I honestly would like to see asari doing more erotic dancing like in ME2. That is better then some of the sex scenes anyway.

I kind of wonder what route they are going to take for the romance scenes in ME3. As long as it's not Fem Shep and Kaiden looking at each other and as soon as the touch hands or kiss then it fades to black. I swear I will rage if they do that!
