No,but if it's done,it should be taken seroiusly and done right,not like that dry humping from ME2-

PS: I find it extremely annoying how everyone considers the sex scenes in ME1 "tasteful". It seems like everyone's definition of tasteful is whether or not you get turned on.

The ME1 scene had emotion and depth, it lasted only a moment but it conveyed more then any other BioWare 'sex' scene EVER. It's not about depiction of actual sexual acts but the intimacy shared between two people who care for each other in a mature setting. Adults can handle a little skin because we see it in our own lives and that's how it should be handled. Like a movie...

How is that hard to understand?????????

I remember that after Columbine a lot of people in the US wanted to have Marilyn Manson's music banned. Did anybody ever think of having something like...I dunno...gun control? Oh, wait, I forgot - you need in case the redcoats come to take back the colonies, forget I said anything.

As far as the beer is concerned, I was led to believe that that was due to the poor water quality in the cities. As far as gun control goes, I agree to an extent. I don't want to start a flame on that, so I won't elaborate. But picking up on your alcohol at 16, it's sort of like my stance on alcohol and people in the military. Which my argument is "So at 18 I can go to war, blow a man's head off, take enemy fire, probably end up missing fingers from a I.E.D., but perish the thought that, even though I'm risking life and limb, I STILL can't drink a Guiness? @#$%$@#$#!!!" 

Oh well, it really doesn't really make sense to discuss this stuff.

My personal opinion?

I strongly believe that humanity as a whole is a brainless herd of sheep. And you just don't hand out guns to sheep. They have hooves, goddamnit.

I'd like to see an awesome sex scene. I think if i'm gonna work at i'd like to get some side boob or ass shot like in ME1, haha. ME1 was tasteful and i liked it. I know it's probably hard to do with some of the alien species. I'd just like to see somethng interesting, emotional, and maybe even funny. Makes it fun.

Now that I think about it, ME3 would be the first game that you'd be going into with an established relationship, excluding Liara in LotSB. I'm excited to see how they work with that, since people in a relationship already won't be trying to court their LI at all.

I wonder if any Bioware staff checking in have noticed that, in nearly 75 posts, this thread has absolutely nobody who isn't asking for more realistic (AKA fully nude) sex scenes.

It'd be great if they realized that not only does Fox News not buy their games, but the kind of people who watch & believe Fox News don't buy their games either.

Yes. Really, if you're going to become fully immersed in a Roleplaying game, spend a large amount of time talking to and being around a character you find attractive, and you get to the climax of your (as in you, the person whose role you are playing) relationship and aren't turned on even a little, there's something wrong.

I never said I had a problem with skin. ME1 to me just seemed like two people having sex... I didn’t see a hint of the emotion you're talking about. I thought the emotion in the ME1 romances was expressed better in the dialogue, and even that felt like a cheesy porno movie.

I disagree. It shouldn't look like ME1.
ME1's romance scenes were copy and paste. They were classy, sure, but not needed. They should spend those resources on dialog rather than generic sex animations.

Can we agree that whether or not they are in the same mechanics as ME1's romance scenes, they were more believable & genuine when a character who had every reason to be nude (and was shown modestly), was, rather than in some romance scenes in ME2?



Not that they made me think less of ME2, the only romance scene I played through was made quite well...
