As I only found Mass Effect after 1 & 2 were out, it becomes my most anticipated thing ever, surpassing past anticipations like my month-long trip to Australia, NZ, Hawaii, getting my driver's license, and reaching drinking age. I'm glad I've never had a child, because I'd be forced to make a painful decision on which had me more excited.

Yes and the nine month wait is going to kill me. Hopefully skyrim will help ease the pain of the wait and take up some of my time.

^^Considering Skyrim will probably keep me busy from 11-11-11 until 03-06-12 I can contain my over abounding enthusiasm for ME3 to a simmering boil.

Per Todd Howard it is like 300+ hours....I think the collectors edition comes with divorce papers as a bonus gift.

Second most anticipated game, I'm still waiting for the next Half-Life.

I haven't kept track of how many times I've played through Mass Effect 1 but I've only completed Mass Effect 2 two times.

3rd most anticipated game, right behind Super Metroid and Mega Man X. Yes I'm showing my age.

Skyrim and Arkham City are anticipated, sure, but it doesn't come close to my excitement for ME3. It's the end of Shepard's story, the last in the trilogy, when everything comes together and we get to shape the fate of the galaxy.

Not to mention I'll be playing the former two all fall and winter, with plenty of time to finish before ME3 comes along.

Yes, but only because the ME2 DLC and replaying it with a friend has heightened my appreciation for the series. Otherwise, it'd be Guild Wars 2.

I can't wait but I was super, ultra hyped for ME2.
I was a little too hyped and I was a bit disappointed but I still loved it.
So no, I was more excited for ME2 but I'm still really looking forward to ME3!

It's going to be so hard to wait nine months... I am literally shaking right now... At least by then I'll have Skyrim and Battlefield 3 to keep me company.

My most anticipated game ever was ME2. I had played ME1 somewhere over 20 times. Then I got ME2, and it was a let down. I've only managed to play it through 4 times.

I'm excited about this, but after being so let down by ME2, I'm very cautious.

So far, yes. ME3 is my most anticipated game ever (so far), though Skyrim edges in close. I imagine it would take the announcement of an ME mmo to dethrone the levels of anticipation reached by ME3.
