I never got quite why the Collector Armor was released as DLC, when it was promised not to be.

PS3 members never had a chance to get it, what with the game not being released on their consoles. Until later, that is.

This. I'd like a Nissan GT-R Black Edition. Damn sure don't have the nigh $100K to afford one but that's not gonna give me the right to say others shouldn't get it.

Plus, its not like the Extra-Special Edition will replace the Collector's Edition. Its just that the Uber Edition is for people who are REALLY collectors and not just people who want to spend a ton of money on extra stuff they won't look at for more than two seconds.

Artbooks? reminds me of a fan service JRPGs.

My problem with the artbooks is their size. It's really rather small. Most art books are around 200 pages, with much larger dimensions. Just look at the one that came with The Witcher 2. I just would like more attention to detail.

Honestly, I'd drop some serious cash for something "uber" to add to my Mass Effect collection. As lame as it sounds, this series has been an amazing experience for me and my Shepard. This series is BY FAR my favorite series of ALL TIME. I'd like something to commemorate this epic trilogy. With that being said TAKE MY DAMN MONEY ALREADY!!!

I don't know if anyone here is from Brazil but in the brazilian version of "Origin" I can only pre-order the virtual version of the CE. In other countries this happens too?

I'm thinking to preorder the game in Amazon if this continues.

The same reason why there are stadium seats, front-row seats and VIP passes in sporting events. You still get the same core experience, but the VIP passes are for those who are passionate about whatever team/product they follow. People who are willing to let an anticipated game slide for a few months, skip eating out for a few weeks, and generally make sacrifices to own something memorable that has made an impact in their lives.

I'm already cutting corners with the CE.  Like I said, I want the best (if that means an Uber edition). But there is no way I can afford $150. That's just too high.


But if it was something like $99...................

As I said earlier, Luxery has a price. I'm sorry you can't afford anything over $100, but that doesn't mean other consumers should suffer due to your financial issues. 

Anyways, we are beating a dead horse at this point.

The Collector's Edition is THE Collector's Edition. No polls or similar will change that, so there is no point in dwelling on this.
