I was watching the Mass Effect 3 trailer and demos and I thought it would be great this time to play as a Adept rather than an infiltrator but i'm not sure if in ME3 you'll be able to change from classes. You could in ME2 but some people have been saying you can't change classes but then that would be a stupid idea because people playing a class in one game may not want to play that class in the next because of differences.

Also opinions on Kinect, I think it looks nice and minimal and rather than doing too much rubbish with it it looks like they did the max it should be used for in a shooter.

Another thing is the melee change, Commander Shepard is now packing a blade in his omni tool and i'm not sure how other people see this. I think it's pretty cool but do other people think that this is silly and the usually punch is a better melee usage as it makes more sense.

Just out of intrest does any one have either a link to a site with all Mass Effect 3 demos, gameplay and interviews or a list of different ones because everytime I look I find a new trailer or demo from 4 days previous and it would be good if I could find somewhere with up to date information and not 2 different sites and researching Youtube.

Personally I love the idea of the omni blade if the Vanguard class still has the biotic charge ability. It seems like getting yourself into the thick of combat in ME3 won't be as dangerous as in ME2.

One thing I would like to see possibly is an actual follow through with what they said the charge ability would do in ME2 when they first showed it, that you can use it to quickly charge OUT of combat as well as in; like be able to charge in and slam a targeted opponent, finish him with blade or shotgun, then if things get to dangerous and you start hurting turn around and charge back to a position behind cover or something. Maybe have distance when not targeting be based an how long your hold the power button, with some set max distance.

Regardless I'm really excited for more to be revealed and see what they do to all the classes, since I have a character in each one on ME2.

Different classes apparently have different melee weapons. Omni-blade is for Soldier. Supposedly Adepts have some kind of biotic blade thingy, and Engineers a close-range flame attack.

I'd be surprised if you couldn't change class at the beginning, given the mechanics changes.

Plus the fact that Bioware is known for giving you the ability to play what you want, even if its different from what you played on the carry over game.  I mean look what they did so we could do it in ME2, killed Shepard and put him back together so we could have the look and class we wanted.  I'm sure thats not the only (or even main) reason for that bit of story, but it worked and I'm sure they will do something, even if it isn't that ellaborate.
